THESE past few days have been horrible for me. Daniel moved away to another state because his mom lost her job. Dutch, Tommy, Bobby, Jimmy and me were all still here. I sat down against the brick, leaning my head against the wall. I ran my hand through my hair. All of this had been a disaster, none of this would've happened if Daniel wouldn't have moved in.
"No one touches the prima donna until the tournament!"
I laugh at the thought, but my smile immediately fades as I look through the crowd of people directly at Ali. She was talking with her girlfriends and laughing. Her beautiful smile always made me feel so ... different.
