Get Off- Kirk (Part Two)

Start from the beginning

Without further encouragement, the two children dematerialized to safety, letting Kirk breath a bit easier. But as the ship lurched and gravity stopped working for a moment, Kirk's breathing became a little less easy.

You moaned as you felt your body lift up off the ground. But once the gravity kicked in again you tried to scream out but your throat felt raw. You held your breath as you waited for the painful intact but instead you grunted as you fell against a warm chest.

"Get off." You mumbled into his chest as you grasped into him.

The ship shook some more and Kirk could see as parts of the ship broke off into space. He didn't have much longer to wait as the ship broke itself apart. He shielded you against falling bits of debris.

"I got you." Kirk smiled, holding you close as he looked up at the ceiling. "Beam us up Scotty."

And in an instant Kirk was holding you protectively in the transporter room. Bones and his medical team were already there holding the children who looked like they just woke up on Christmas morning at the site of you in their savior's arms.

Salia stepped forward, touching your hand. "Is she going to be alright?" She looked up at Bones who was scanning you.

"Looks like she has some internal damage but nothing that we can't fix."

Little Marci stepped forward, taking hold of Salia's hand. "I wanna stay."

Kirk looked down at the kids then at you in his arms. "Bones I need you to see to her right away." Spotting the young Russian Ensign, Kirk nodded him over. "Look after Salia and Marci for me. I need (Y/n) to be seen to and not have to worry about them."

Chekov nodded, sending the young boy a wave but blushing as he smiled at Salia. With the two kids taken care of, Kirk followed Bones to sick bay, eager to get you seen to. You instinctively burrowed into his chest as he entered the cold room.

Kirk tried to lay you on an examination bed but you wouldn't let him go. Gently he pried you off him. "Get off, princess," he chuckled as you reluctantly let go of him.

He smoothed back some of your hair and watched as nurses took over. Kirk turned to leave but you reached out and grabbed his hand, holding him next to you.

"Stay," you whispered.

Kirk looked up at Bones who shrugged. So Kirk held your hand as you fell into a much-needed rest.

You remember the familiar sensation of being beamed but you don't remember how you got into the Med-Bay. Suddenly everything back on the mothership came flooding back in. You sat up suddenly, gasping for breath as you searched the room frantically for Salia and Marci.

But the feeling of something on your hand stayed your worry. Captain James T. Kirk held your hand as he rested his head next to you. You instantly relaxed, squeezing his hand gently. This time it was his turn to sit up suddenly. His crystal blue eyes found yours and his dashing smile filled his face.

"Hey you," he whispered kindly.

You just stared at him, taking in his dissheveled state; tousled hair, rumpled shirt, even his perfect skin had smudges of dirt on it. You couldn't help but smile, holding his hand a bit more securely.

"I'm not your princess." You croaked out, coughing just a bit as you held down a laugh.

Kirk chuckled as he helped you take a sip of water a nurse brought by. "Whoa now, don't get so worked up. I don't want all my heroic actions to go to waste."

You rolled your eyes but smiled at him. Suddenly, the sweet little faces of Salia and Marci flashed in your mind['s eye. You sat up so fast you scared Kirk to spilling the cup of water all over himself. You would have laughed had your heart not been pounding in anticipation.

"Salia...Marci...Are they, are they alright?" You searched the blond's face for any sign. "Please James, please tell me they-they..."

Jim's heart softened at your use of his first name. "Shh, it's alright princess." He sat down, calling over to a nurse to bring in Chekov. "Didn't you hear what I said just a second ago? Hard work; wasted." He rolled his eyes playfully.

You smacked his chest lightly, but your heart still pounded with worry. "How did you find them?" You whispered as you tried to calm yourself.

Jim moved one of his hands up to stroke your hairline rhythmically. "I just did. They were smart to find shelter."

Tears fell as you thanked every star in space for their lives being saved. Jim wiped them, looking at you with such adoration you about started sobbing. Suddenly, the med-bay doors opened and you were bombarded with hugs and kisses. Now you let the watergates free, holding the now clean and happy children.

Kirk silently sat back watching the happy reunion with his own smile taking over his facial features. He noticed Salia detatch herself from your arms to stand before him, bowing.

"Thank you so much, sir, for your help." She then turned to Chekov, a noticible blush brushing both of thier cheeks. "And thank you Mr. Chekov for watching over us as (Y/n) recovered." She then turned as if to go but turned back to Chekov, standing a bit closer.

"I do hope we can see more of each other." Salia whispered as if the captain couldn't hear their conversation.

Chekov glanced at Kirk, who just shrugged. The young Russian smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't mind."

Salia smiled wide and ran back to you as you listened to Marci give his rendition of being beamed aboard the Enterprise. Jim watched contently, but noticed you fighting to stay awake. As thrilled as you were to see them, you were extremely tired. You looked to Jim for help, giving him a shy smile.

With the assistance of Chekov, goodbyes were said and you promised to see them as soon as you were out of the "sickness", as Marci called it. You kissed them on their cheeks and watched as they reluctantly left with the young Ensign. Well, not all were reluctant.

Jim walked up to your bed, sitting down on the bed as he took your hand in both of his. You fixed yourself to sit up properly, finally feeling relaxed.

"Thank you." You said quietly.

Jim smiled, scooting a bit closer. "You are very welcome."

You look down at his hands holding yours. "I'm sorry I was rude before. I don't know how to repay you."

"I am sorry for being a-a pompous jerk."

You sat up a bit more, resting your free hand on his arm. "Don't be. You saved me, several times, and you saved Salia and Marci. I honestly-I can't-" Tears threatened to spill but Jim's actions calmed you.

Jim leaned forward, placing one of his hands on your cheek, lacing his fingers in your hair. Gently, he pulled you close to him as you closed your eyes, letting him guide you. He searched your face as he leaned his forehead gently against yours. Your noses just barely touching sent shivers down your spine as your middle fee warm. Your breathings quickened, syncing with each other's heartbeats.

Jim closed his eyes, closing the gab that was slowly disappearing. Your lips welcomed his as he deliberately kissed you, gradually pulling you closer but making sure to be soft at the same time. Your insides melted at how tenderly he kissed you. You felt it from your fingertips to your toes. But it was over all too soon.

Resting on your forehead once again, Jim stroked your cheek with his thumb. "No payment necessary, princess. Besides, you can't get rid of me that easily. I'm sure I can find you a place on my ship."

You smiled, your eyes still closed as you clung to the remaining warmth he gave of. "I'm all yours."

Guys...this is literally one of my favorites! I hope you all liked it too! Thank you SO SO much for ALL the support and for your kind words! I wish I could give you all hugs! Keep it real! Kisses!
