The nights were the best.

Not because of the soft breeze blowing through the air, not the quiet streets that are perfect for midnight strolls, not the bright lights shining around the city, and not even the sparkling stars that dance above the dark blue sky.

It was simply because of him, the boy I love.

He would hold me in his arms as I cuddled into his presence. The blankets lazily draped over us giving warmth during the cold nights. Everything about these moments was just perfect.

Tonight was no different. Zach held onto me like it might be our last night together.

They might seem like three empty words to some people, but to us those three words mean the entire world, and the passion put into each syllable explains how much our hearts desire each other.
