Chapter 26 - Training

It's been three days since Butterfree had been lost. Serena was starting to get over it but still hated the fact her Pokémon wasn't with her anymore.

Ash had been there to comfort her throughout the few days. However today was the first day Ash and Serena were to be trained.

They were to unlock and ability that all greats have. The ability to control aura and life force.

This ability, controlling life force, could be very lethal. If someone becomes corrupted with this power, they will no longer exist. They will exist as nothing but demons.

This grants the Greats, the ability to revive someone. However it could be used the other way around. It could grant the ability to drain life force, and kill that person or Pokémon it's being used on.

There are rules set from the first Greats to exist for this ability. The biggest rule you can't ever break, is that you can't kill just anyone. Even if you hate that person. You can't use it for personal gain. Only for the good of all.

Controlling Aura is much less life threatening. It's also non lethal to everything. Nothing can be killed by aura abilities.

Aura grants the user the ability to summon a shield created from aura, to be able to heal, and create aura spheres to throw. A bunch of other abilities can be unlocked once Aura and life force abilities get unlocked.

Serena had gained a little of her confidence back and insisted that she was ready to learn. Ash was ready only if Serena was.

Now it was currently 10:35 AM. Lucario and Absol led Ash and Serena to a stream.

"Ok how exactly do we unlock these...." Ash asks.

Lucario looks at Ash for a few seconds. "Think fast" Lucario states as he throws a rock towards Ash.

Ash holds up his hands, like a voice in his head was telling him what to do. Serena was watching curiously. Ash had his eyes closed for one second before a blue barrier appeared in front of him.

The rock touched the barrier and it disintegrated. Ash opens his eyes to see the barrier disappear.

"Congratulations Ash. You unlocked Aura abilities." Absol says surprised.

"Already?!" Ash yells.

"Yes.....that's.....never happened before...it usually takes hours for someone to unlock them!!"

Lucario picks up a rock and throws it at Ash again. This time Ash wasn't quick enough and it hit Ash's leg, hard.

"Lucario!! Be careful!!" Serena yells running up to Ash. Little did she know it was part of Lucario's plan.

As Serena was tapping Ash's leg, he was shouting in pain. There was also a cut on his leg. "Oh great. Ash, I think it's broken." Serena says sadly.

"Serena. Think about that part of the leg. And then think about it mending itself, as your hand is on that area." Absol States

"Why Absol?" Serena asks.

"Just do it." Absol responds

"Oh and Ash. Brace yourself. It'll probably hurt as this is her first time trying this." Lucario tells Ash.

Ash nods. And Serena puts her hand down onto Ash's hurt leg. She closed her eyes. She didn't want to see her hurting Ash, also she needed to think in her mind.

Serena's palm starts glowing pink. It was illuminating the area around her hand as well. Absol and Lucario were staring in shock.

Once again, these abilities usually take hours to unlock, but these two have unlocked them within a few minutes. It does say in the prophecy that they may be the ones to destroy Team Rocket.
