Dear Diary,
Well it's been a while since I last saw you. I haven't had much time. Also, I may not have much time left, my brother has gotten worse, I am getting abused almost everyday now. Spring is supposed to be like a new hope or something, but I don't think that is true. I haven't been in school for the past week and homework is piling up and my grades are slipping. I don't want to have to go to summer school or stay back. But I don't know if or when I'm going back...
