illumilucy is an account home to some of Random's best loved books, from 'Pickup Lines' which now has 30 million reads and 'Comebacks' which has 13 million reads. It was amazing to interview her and here is what she answered!

Why did you download Wattpad in the first place?

I downloaded Wattpad because my friends had it and they suggested I should get it.

Did you ever expect your books to become so popular?

Goodness no.

What is your favourite book on Wattpad?

The first ever book I read was a TVD fan fiction, I can't quite remember the name, but it would honestly be my favourite. Although, I've really enjoyed a few of my followers books, but of course I try and read as much as I an, so the names of them always slip my mind.

What's been your best experience on Wattpad?

Everything up until now. There's been so many experiences, I honestly can't pick favourites.

With so many followers, do you feel a pressure to post chapters?

Not all all.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Be creative when writing. Think out the box and don't copy another one's story. Unique and original stories get more publicity as people haven't read them numerous times, you know? Updating regularly helps a ton and talking to your followers. They followed you, they liked your books, go along and check out their books as well, in return. Just being active on people's books and all, honestly gives you a much better chance of gaining publicity. But don't beg for views or followers or votes, that doesn't work. Just being grateful for the reads, votes and followers you have received is honestly so much better than begging. But anyways, just write,  write and write and I promise your books will end up somewhere, no matter how long it takes.
