urieeeeee is a brilliant account on Wattpad, and has written fics such as 'Hallelujah' which has 115k reads, and 'Strictly Business' which has 85k reads. It was lovely to interview them, and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I've always loved to write. I'd write away my feelings, good or bad. I loved being able to put them down on paper and make them into stories and events, so I joined Wattpad and made them public. I loved seeing other writers being able to interact with people through their writing, and I wanted to do the same.

Which of the characters you've created has been your favourite and why?

It's hard to pick, I love them all and they of course impact me in such an important way. Probably the main character from my newest book, Shooter. Her name is Fiona and she just had this vibe to her. She's got spunk and character and a lot of mystery that I'm still figuring up myself.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

Definitely when I reached 100k reads on one of my stories. I literally started jumping and singing when I found out. It was so surreal and I am still so super thankful.

Where do you see your account in six months?

Oh gosh. Hopefully with more readers and farther into my stories. I would love to have another story within those six months, as well.

What's the hardest part of writing on Wattpad?

Probably the pressure to put out content often. It's not the readers fault, they aren't the ones pressuring me. They are so supportive and allow me to be flexible, but I just feel like they deserve as much as I can give them.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

My readers. It sounds cheesy, but they are the ones that push me to be creative and make new content. They are all so supportive and I consider every last one of them as my friends.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Be patient. When I started out I wanted to be super big and huge, but now I would be so thankful if here was even just ten people reading my books. It's not all about the fame, and if it is for you, it's not worth it. In time, it will come, but until then, enjoy everything you have. Most importantly, Stay alive |-/
