As I sat on the park with Aiden in my lap, I couldn't help but let my mind wonder. I had left Ryan in the dense of night, and even though I thought it was right in the moment it didn't feel so right now. I sighed and watched the little kids run around, their tiny feet trampling the flowers as they chased each other.

"Are you thinking about Ryan again?" Cassidy asked taking Aiden from me. Reluctantly I nodded my head at her checked my phone. "If you're going to call him you might want to do it now."

"I don't know if I want to though. I mean, maybe we weren't meant toget married. Afterall he isn't my mate." I shrugged eyeing Cassidy carefully as Aiden began to wiggle on her lap.

"But you love him, and that's what counts in the end doesn't it?" Cassidy asked placing Aiden on the ground watching as he walked a few feet from us and began to bang the plastic dinosaur on the head.

"I love him but marriage is a big step Cass, I'm still young and I've got so much left to do with life." I admitted going over to Aiden and placing him on the dinosaurs's head. Smiling as he giggled happily, rocking back and forth. "I think I have cold feet."

"That's normal. Everyone gets cold feet Ada, honestly they do. What you need to do now is call him and explain to him how your feeling." Cassidy suggested running her hand throught her blonde hair.

"But I don't know how I'm feeling. I just need time to figure it all out."

"Then I have the perfect idea to make you clear your mind." Cassidy grinned mischieviously. "We should go to the party downtown. It's gonna be fun, everyone is going and they'll be drinks and boys and games."

"Party? You know what happened to me last time we went to a party Cassidy?" I frowned indicating to Aiden who was still having the time of his life on the dinosaur. "I'm not really a partying type of girl."

"Please Adalaid? I mean come on, that was so long ago and I'm sure Eric wont even be there. Plus, the only reason your wolf didn't fight Eric is because he's your mate." Cassidy insisted looking at me with pleading puppy dog eyes. "Please? Ask mommy please for Aunt Cassidy Aiden."

"Pwease momey?" Aiden asked looking up at me. I smiled down at him before picking him up and giving Cassidy a glare. "Pwease? Nan Cass say pwease."

"Fine! I'll go! But if this whole thing turns into a disaster, I'll never let you live it down Cassidy. I swear I wont." I frowned heading back towards my car and setting Aiden up in his carseat.

"It wont be. You'll have fun and it'll relive your stress." Cassidy promised, beaming with Joy.

As we pulled up I already felt a tingle of regret boiling through my blood veins. My car vibrated as the bass erupted under it, my ears buzzed at the different conversations going on at once, and my nose scrunched up from the heavy layer of alachol drifting in the air around us as we filed out of the car. Cassidy however, seemed more then unphased... She seemed at home. Her tight strapless red dress outlining her curves perfectly, her blonde hair laying on her shoulders basically giving directions to her clevage, and her black heels making the beaded necklace aroud her neck. If I didn't know her I'd think she just came from somewhere remotel important. I looked myself over nervously,  I hadn't been to a actual party in so long I'd forgotten the feel. My red corset with black stripes and a bow stopping right at the line of my cleavage, my black skirt stopping a good 5 inches above my knee, converse boots stopping barely 3 each under my knees, and my hair straightened with a black bow headband in it.
