Chapter 10

-Aphmau's P.O.V-

"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" I asked repeatedly

"NO WE'RE NOT!" The driver shouted, clearly fed up with me "ASK AGAIN AND I'LL SHOCK YOU!"

"OK GEEZ! I WAS ONLY ASKING!" I shouted back regretting it the moment I did. The moment the words escaped my mouth I was shocked. I fell limp and I was breathing heavily.

I hate this stupid van! I hate these stupid powers!  

Why me?! Why us?! Why can't we just be normal humans?! 

"Because then life wouldn't be very fun!~" A voice inside my head giggled creepily

"Oh, Dem, do leave Jessica alone!" Another voice said, sounding more sweet and not creepy at all

"But, Ange! Then how am I meant to have fun?~" The first voice, who I'm assuming is Dem, giggled even more creepy than before.

"Um, who are you two?" I thought, hoping they would hear it

"Oh dear, do let me introduce us!" The first voice, who I'm assuming is Ange, said. "I'm Ange and the other voice is Dem! We're the voices inside your head! I'm the voice that helps you make good choices, so your angel, you could say. And Dem is the side that tries to get you to make bad choices, so your devil, you could say!"

"Oh ok, that makes more sense!" I thought "but why haven't I heard from you two before?"

"Well, sweetie, you have. Just not properly!~" Dem explained, in her soft yet spine shivering voice "it's only now that you can hear us.~ Before we just used to help you make the right -or wrong in my case- decisions~"

"Ok, your creepy!" I thought

"That's my job!~" She sent a shiver down my spine. I smiled to myself and having someone to 'talk' to made this whole journey a hell of a lot easier. 

*Time skip*

"We're here," The driver blankly said. I nodded, eager to get out of these chains and this collar. The moment he unchained me and took the collar off I instantly stood up, and then all I saw was black.

*Time skip*

I woke up feeling stiff and in pain. After a moment of me waking up I felt a serge of electricity go soaring down my body. I whined out in pain and it stopped. My eyes fully adjusted to the light and I saw I was in a plain white room. No windows and only one door on the other side of the room. It looked more like the door to a cage than a normal door. I noticed that I was sat on a few purple -really comfortable- pillows in the corner of the room. I could stand up and walk around since I wasn't chained up anymore. There's just two downsides;

1: I can't see the guys anywhere.

2: I still have this shock collar on.

I sighed in frustration and flopped down onto the pillows, wincing slightly as I did.

"Hey Jess!" I heard Ange say. 

"Hey!~" I heard Dem say. I smiled to myself and thought

"Hey guys!" 

"What's up?" Ange perked

"Meh. Being stuck in this room," I replied "you?"

"Just being bored!~" Dem replied

We ended up 'talking' for ages, until I fell asleep.
