Update (22.03.2020) ENG: From the perspective of years, it seems that neither the author - Natalia Rak, nor the initiators of the "Folk on the street" campaign in 2013 did not expect that they were creating a new symbol of the city. The mural was created on the wall of the building of the Institute of Chemistry UwB, and the inspiration for its creation was the legend of the giant people from the study by Wojciech Załęski. Today, every tourist wants to see a girl watering a tree - gadgets with her image are very popular - cups, backpacks, notebooks, magnets, etc. The girl got a postage stamp and many replicas.
