Aktualizacja (11.07.2019) PL: Największy hawajski wulkan i jednocześnie najwyższy szczyt, wznosi się on na wysokość 4205 m nad poziom morza. Natomiast jego bezwzględna wysokość wynosi 10200 m, przez co trzeba go uznać za najwyższą górę świata. Wulkan Mauna Kea zaliczany jest do wygasłych - jego ostatnia erupcja miała miejsce 3 tysiące lat temu. Dzisiaj na szczycie znajduje się obserwatorium astronomiczne.
Update (11.07.2019) ENG: The largest Hawaiian volcano and at the same time the highest peak, it rises 4205 m above sea level. However, its absolute height is 10,200 m, which means it has to be considered the highest mountain in the world. The Mauna Kea volcano is considered extinct - its last eruption took place three thousand years ago. Today at the top there is an astronomical observatory.
