"Goodbye, San Mateo!" I popped out my head on the window of Densel's pick-up truck, feeling the wind on my face and moist of the evening. I closed my eyes and felt it. I opened my eyes and said my goodbye to this beautiful place. Hindi kabilisan ang takbo ng sasakyan. But still, my hair is sticking our in different place on my face, I don't care!

I am grinning like a fool.

I really enjoyed our stay here! Pakiramdam ko nga ang bilis bilis ng oras naman dito. From Luwasan, Grecia, at Kaingin nalibot naming dalawa iyon. Ilang oras din kaming nagbababad sa dagat. A sun-kissed skin though...

My body felt sore all over. Pakiramdam ko tinatangay pa rin ako ng mga alon. I could feel it when I was closing my eyes. I could feel it. Kapag nahihiga lang ako nararamdaman ko ulit iyong pagtangay ng alon sa akin. Nananiginip pa ko tungkol dito! Ha!

I am so happy!

"Hey!"

Natawa ako nang hilain ni Densel ang balikat ko pabalik sa upuan. Hindi na 'ko nagpumilit at iniayos ko na ang aking upo sa passenger seat. I rested my head and looked at him. "What?" I mocked confusion and he narrowed his eyes on me. But I grinned. I was about to pop my head ngunit sinara niya ang bintana ng sasakyan. I immediately glared at him. Pero nakatutok ang mata niyang sa daan. His lips were rising slowly until he was biting the corner of his lip. "Open it!" I pleaded.

Umiling lang siya. I scowled. Like a child, and what the hell, I crossed my arms above my chest. My eyes felt heavy and wanted to drift to sleep. We were both have long sleep, kaya ko lamang nararamdaman ang antok sa lahat ng nangyari.

"You are such—" I stopped and yawned. "Damn it."

He chuckled. Nakatuon pa rin ang atensyon niya sa daan, hindi inaantok. Buhay na buhay ang mata niya sa daan. Dapat namang samahan ko siyang gising dahil siya ang nagmamaneho ngunit hindi na kinakaya ng mata ko. I covered my mouth by my hand when I yawned again.

"You could sleep, love. I'm not going anywhere," aniya, tumingin sa akin saglit at kumindat. He was grinning when he focused.

I scowled.

"I'm not—" I yawned again. "Shit..."

Densel laughed huskily. I rolled my eyes. I wil stay awake. Kinuha ko ang energy drink na ininom niya sa bag at halos ubusin ko ang laman nito. "It's not fair..." I muttered. "I'll be awake this whole time if you're driving." My chin lifted, looking at him.

He just shook his head, still his eyes were focusing on the road.

"Fine..." he breathed. "Do me a favor," dagdag niya. Tumango ako. "Read my sister's text to me..." Inabot ko ang telepono niya sa harap, malapit sa steering wheel. "See if I'm going to stay alive after that..."

My lip curved upward.

"Am I going to lose you?" I joked.

"Never, love..." he answered immediately.

I read Leigh's text on his phone internally.

From Leigh:

Pasalubong! Don't you dare! Thank you! Love you, my beloved twin brother!

"Do I need to say it aloud?" natatawa kong sabi. "Threat," I added.

Densel whistled. I smiled. My eyebrow raised at him. He read me. I nodded and read Leigh's text message to him.
