Seriously?! Did he really have to come to the platform? I thought by not answering his letters I made my intentions clear. I don't want to see him. We just don't work out. This entire boyfriend-girlfriend thing was a bad idea from the beginning. We should've never started it.

That being said, I couldn't help notice how his eyes looked duller than usual, how his hair was flat and how he wasn't clean shaven. He looked desperate. My heart ached for him. Yet I know, that if we would reconcile, he'd never settle for our previous arrangement and I can't be his precious girlfriend.

He looked up and our eyes met. For a moment I could feel myself forget everything and everyone and leaving him to be the only thought in my mind. I love him. He loves me. Why am I making this hard? Why not just be with him?

Then it came back to me. Being with him makes me vulnarable. I care too much for him and another break would kill me.

Adjusting my eyes, I walked towards my Dad and Remus.

"D'you mind if I board the train already? It's a bit ... crowdy out here." They exchanged glances with another before nodding.
"Give your old man a hug before you go." Dad said while opening his arm for me. I gracefully stepped into his embrace and felt him kiss the top of my head. "It'll get better" he whispered so only I could hear. I pulled back slightly and gave him a small smile. "I'll miss you, Daddy."
"I'll miss you too, Pup."

Remus was in for the next round of goodbyes. He had been standing by to give Dad and I a moment, but now it was his turn.
"You know I'll miss you too, right, Remmy?" Is asked while stepping into his outstrechted arms. He hugged me." Of course I do, Cub. I'll miss you too." We stayed in the momentum for a few seconds longer before letting go.

With a last look back, I turned and walked towards the train. Charlie's crestfallen face imprinted in my brain. He tried calling out for me but I ignored it and increased my pace.

As the clock struck eleven, the train started moving and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. The ride in itself was quiet. I'd locked my doors with every charm I knew off and casted a muffliato so people couldn't hear the noises inside my compartment. Music floated trough the air and I let myself get lost in it. There were no more tears left for me to cry.

After about an hour, a knock interrupted my peace. Dimming my music to a bare murmer, I opened the door just enough to peak through. A girl with thick brown braids was stood there. She smiled apologetically.

"Do you mind if I join you? Most compartments are full and the twins just dropped a dungbomb in my previous compartment and I can't get rid of the smell." My reaction was something I don't think I normally would've done. I stepped back and opened the door wider for her, gestering for her to take a seat. She grinned at me while walking in and I couldn't help but be a little awed. She's beautifull. I closed the door behind me and waved a hand over it to redo the locking charms.

"Oh how rude of me, I didn't introduce myself. I'm Angelina Johnson, sixth year gryffindor." I smiled at her and accepted the hand struck out in my direction.
"I'm Siriana Black, but friends and family call me Anna. Nice to meet you." We shook hands and I couldn't help but notice how her hand seemed to linger a bit longer than neccesary in mine.

We chatted during the rest of the train ride and I felt happy. For the first time since the whole Charlie ordeal I was able to smile and laugh again, genuinly. Maybe this girl can help me get over him. She seems great.

As the train stopped, we said our goodbyes and I went to find Nymphadora. She stood at the edge of the station, eyes never focussing on one point for too long, scanning over all the students. As she spotted me, a smile bloomed on her face.

"Wotcher, you must be Siriana. You couldn't look more like Sirius if you tried, now could you?" I grinned and changed my hair to a flashy purple. "You can call me Anna. Siriana is far too long to my likings, wouldn't you agree, Nymphadora?" Her hair flashed a dangerous red until she saw I was joking.
"I like you, Anna. Call me Dora." We fell into easy conversation after that. Keeping an eye out over the student body. My eyes brightened a bit as I noticed Angelina looking over at me. She winked and gave a little wave wich I returned. Our little exchange didn't go unnoticed by Dora who immediatly fixed me with a knowing look.

"So, what was that all about, huh?" She smirked as I felt myself blush just a little.
"It's nothing, really. we just shared a compartment on the train." I tried to brush it off. She shuckled.
"Sure, that's all there is." She drawled sarcasticly.

Dora kept on teasing me as we followed everyone else. By the gate to Hogwarts, she stopped and gave me a quick hug.
"Looks like this is were we part ways."
"Why? Can't you come up to the castle and join us for dinner? I was told I could have guests..." I grinned at her as she linked arms with me and proceeded onwards.
"Looks like I'm eating at Hogwarts then."
