"Kate, you're going to be great! You're an amazing dancer! If you don't place, then the judges must be blind, dumb and stupid" my twin brother, Joven, said, trying to cheer me up
"That's being a bit redundant" Mari commented
Today was my dance nationals and I was nervous. I brought the Smosh Games Crew, some of my closest friends, as well as my brother and boyfriend, Wes.
"Joven's right, Katelyn. Redundant, but right. You're going to be amazing, like always" Wes said, rubbing my back, trying to calm me down.
"Up next is Katelyn Ovenshire" the announcer said
I got a chorus of 'good luck's from everyone. I sighed and went to the floor.

"And first place goes to... Katelyn Ovenshire!" the announcer said
I ran up to the floor to get my award. After I got my award and everything, I ran to my friends and got a hug from all of them.
"Congrats Katelyn! I knew you would do amazing!" Joven said
"We have a surprise for you" Mari said
"What?" I asked
"We're going to Six Flags!!" Everyone cheered
"Really?!" I asked
I always loved going to Six Flags.
"Yeah, we thought that it would be a good way to cheer you up if you didn't place and an even better way to congratulate you on your win" Wes explained
"Aww guys, thank you" I said, starting to tear up from how amazing my friends are
