HAMILTON PERFORMANCES CANCELLED FOR A WEEK; THOUSANDS OF TICKET HOLDERS ANGRY
It has been brought to our attention at E!News that due to a major star of the smash Broadway rap musical Hamilton, Jasmine Cephas Jones being in labor and possibly suffering complications due to the baby, the cast of the musical would like to spend some time with her.
Lin-Manuel Miranda made the decision to cancel all performances from May 10-May 17, and thousands of fans who had tickets are upset.
"I've been waiting for a year to see Hamilton," one fan said. "It took a lot of money and time, and I flew all the way from Texas, and now I can't see the show! And there's no point in stage dooring either- none of the cast is here!"
Others agree with Lin-Manuel's decision. "I think Jasmine, and the rest of the cast need some time to rest up and get used to the baby," another fan said. "Yes, I wish I could see the show, but there are more important things in life."
