I was roaming in the market, when I saw Ritika there.

I followed her a few meters and then tapped her on her back.

"Yes?" She turned around.

"Ritika? Right?" I asked.

"Megan?" She said.

I nodded.

"If you don't mind, I just want to talk to you for a while"

"What about a coffee?" She asked.

"Sure!"

we both went inside a cafe. It was full of people, some were couples, some were families and some for businesses purpose.

For five minutes not a single word was exchanged.

Her phone rang, she picked up.

"Yes darling?"

"Uhuhh! Yea okay! Okay bye!"

Suddenly a shiver was set down my spine.

"So you guys got married?"

"Not yet, but we are planning it in next monsoon"

It felt like my world has fallen apart once again. I put my hand on my mouth as I leaned back.

"Is every alright?"

"She's she such a" A voice inside my mind came alive. And I looked towards my coffee in a nervous way.

I cleared my throat. "Since how long you people have been dating?"

"Since eight years"

It felt like someone ripped my heart completely, "And it's been six years since our break up" I said softly.

"I beg your pardon"

"Nothing" I replied.

"Well, I've heard a lot about you" She said.

"Like what?"

"Of course good. After all he loves you so much"

"He? Who he?"

"Well, how many guys love you?Sameer! Who else?" She said.

"Sameer loves you. You people are getting married!"

"What? When? I mean who told you?"

"Are you drunk? You yourself said, in the next monsoon"

"Excuse me! I am talking about Mohit"

"So, he loved you?"

"It's been six years since I lost my contact with Sameer" She said.

My eyes got bigger.

"Aren't you guys dating?" She asked.

"He broke up with me, six years ago, saying he loves you"

"What? He really did that! Damn!"

"Did what?"

"Megan, I bet you'll not find any other guy who'll love you like him. He loved you way too much. He left you just because he thought you'll not be happy with him as he had no plans to visit your city again. He was not able to see you cry, and wait for him. He thought he'd rather leave you. For your good; he pretended he loved me. I asked him not to do that. But the day he discussed it with me, my phone got lost"

My eyes got filled with tears and in a nervous way I was running my hands through my hair.

She held my hand, "Listen to me, I know how much you guys were into each other and if you are really for each other you'll meet once again"

"He was weak!" I shouted.

"No! He was strong. Strong enough to think about only you!"

"Idiot! I wish he knew that my happiness was and is still him"

"I hope you get what you deserve. All the best for your future!"

"Thank you!"

She smiled.

"Well, you don't live here, isn't it?" I asked.

"Yea! I came here to visit some relatives of mine"

"Oh"

She looked at her watch and said, "I guess, I should leave. You take care!"

"Yea okay! You too!"

She left.
