Chapter 132 - Madman/Genius

"Abi Miranda, where were you?" Thayne asked, once I was backstage, during intermission, I was hiding during the first act, and by hiding I mean napping in my old room.

"Thayne I have a job." I smiled.

"Yes but it's unimportant at the moment, I'm making a video. I already had Ephraim film the first little bit. Come child." He took my hand and pulled me behind the set, where Oak and Daveed were sitting. "Here's my phone, you tell me when to start." He handed me his phone, and I pulled up the camera.

"Okay, go." I said, and started filming. And he started rapping, after about 10, 15 seconds he stopped, and I stopped filming.

"Thanks Miranda, that's all I needed." He took his phone back, just as I did that, my phone buzzed.

Dad:
I need a second brain on a song

Dad:
It's about a crab

Dad:
Well it's sung by a crab

Dad:
An evil crab

Dad:
Can you read/sing the evil crab song?

Dad:
Never mind, I'm your father. Come read/sing the evil crab song.

"I gotta go." I said to Thayne and headed towards Lin's dressing room. "I'll sing as an evil crab now."

"Alrighty." He handed me a piece of paper.

"Lin, you need to work on your handwriting."

"Shut up." He said, and I laughed.

"Lin!" His door flew open, "I'm gonna do a thing and your reaction is now." Thayne was standing there with his phone

"Wait what?" Lin laughed.

"I hate stage dooring." I said, following Lin outside. Just as the door open, there was a mass of screaming.

"I know hon, just, you have to stay near me. I know I'm going all over-protective dad here, but, I'm not gonna lose you again, and I don't want you to have to go through that again." He wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my temple.

"Lin, you do know that literally a hundred people have a picture of that right?" I said, considering we were standing on the steps in front of the stage door.

"Yep." He smiled at the crowd, "hi!" He smiled and waved. His hand left my waist, and grabbed my hand pulling me along behind him as he signed stuff.

"Uh, Lin?" A girl at the front of the barricade asked, "can, uh, can you take a picture of me and your daughter? If I can get a picture, if that's okay with you?" She wrung her hands nervously.

"Of course." She handed him her phone, and I stood next to her through the barricade, putting my arm around her shoulders. "Say cheese." He said goofily, and took the picture.

We stage doored for a little while, then drove home.

"Goodnight Mija, thanks again for breakfast." Lin shuffled me into my bedroom.

"You're welcome, congrats on your nominations." I smiled at him and got in bed.

"Go to sleep my small child." He handed me Cookie.

"Goodnight Dad." I laughed.

"Goodnight Mija."

Sorry for the odd, time skippy, uneventful, awkward, unnecessary, boring, filler chapter

Sorry it's late.

I got 7 hours of sleep last night. Yay me!

BTW: for all of you who desperately want to know my sleep schedule. I generally fall asleep at 10:00 ish and I wake up, on an average day at 5:00 am.
