after we had lunch I went to the studio with Aaliyah since lyte had an appearance to do. we made it to the studio and Aaliyah started to go through all of her songs.
Aaliyah: Its this one song I want you to hear and tell me what you think
Janet: Okay
She put on the song and her beautiful voice came through the speakers.

She sung along as I just nodded my head to the song. It was really beautiful. I was just staring at her as the song played out.
Aaliyah: So what you think?
Janet: I love it liyah its really beautiful
Aaliyah: Thanks its probably one of my favorite songs on the album

Janet: Yeah I think it might be mines too.
I smiled at the fact that I was happy she liked it. For about a second we were just staring at each other and it got awkward then in walks R.kelly.
R.Kelly: Hey wassup yall
we came out of our awkward stare down and turned to the door.
Janet: How are you Robert
Janet really never called people by there stage name and she got up and hugged him. I greeted him with a hug to.
R.Kelly: So what are you ladies up to
Aaliyah: nothing much just going over some songs
R.Kelly: Yall coming to my party tonight right
Janet: Oh I don't know about all that
Aaliyah: Please just come with me
I poked my lips out at her
R.Kelly: Yeah janet its going be crazy
Janet: That's what I'm afraid of
R.Kelly: okay I mean crazy in a good way
she looked back an forth at me and kels and finally agreed. I jumped up in happiness and gave her a hug. We then went over so more songs and then me and janet finally left.

we stopped by Aaliyah house so she can grab somethings to wear to get dressed at my house. while she was inside I called Lyte.
Lyte: wassup J
Janet: Nothing much, you going to Robert's party tonight
Lyte: Robert who?
Janet: R.kelly lyte
Lyte: aww well say that then and naw I got something else to do
janet: what do you have to do
Lyte: Havent your mother ever told you to stay out of grown folks business
I laughed.
Janet: No seriously lyte
lyte: I got to go into the studio tonight and put down this verse for brandy for the I wanna be down remix with me Queen and YoYo
Janet: Aw really I rather be with you then go to this party. I'm not in a party mood the only reason I'm going cause Aaliyah didn't want to go by herself.

When janet said she would rather be with me I kind of felt some type of way.
lyte: Well I mean Aaliyah would be fine for the night she gonna be there with kels anyways right
Janet: naw I told her I was gonna come so I'm going to suck it up and go with her.
lyte: well if you change your mind you know where ill be at.
Janet: alright Lyte
I hung up from her. I was really hoping she would come through. I looked over across the table and Queen Latifah was smiling at me
Lyte: Fuck you smiling for
Queen: You like Janet don't you
I was token back about what she said but I played it off
Lyte: You tripping naw J is my bestfriend you know that
Queen: I also know you and I know when you like someone and honey you like you some janet
she laughed as I looked at her like she was crazy
Lyte: Well if you know me so well then you should know I don't
Queen: Mmh hmm well ill leave it alone but I know you do.
I couldn't stand queen she always be figuring shit out. I wasn't in denial but I wasn't sure what my feelings towards Janet was. But leave to queen to figure it out.
Lyte: You don't know jack. Let's go
We were doing a little appearance for a charity and we were done so we just decided to head to the studio and write our lyrics.
