A/N: So...what do you think of the story so far? Obviously, this is my own story line now, and I want to know: Do you guys like it?
My eyes shot open, sweat dripping from my face and chest, a scream coming from my throat. Someone burst into the room. I backed away, falling off of the bed and backed up against the wall, gasping. My wings laid on the ground lifelessly.
Jess had come for me, or Bucky found me. Either way, I was screwed.
"Alexx, it's okay. It was just a dream. You're safe." Steve said as he knelt in front of me.
Tears fell down my face and I shook my head, sobbing. It felt so real. "But you're not." I put my face in my hands and cried.
Steve sat down and wrapped his arms around me, hugging me until I calmed down. When I stopped crying, he picked me up and laid me on the bed. He laid next to me and held me against his body, his chin on top of my head, and I fell asleep again, dried tears on my cheeks.
A/N: Sorry this one is so extremely short. I would have added it to the next chapter, but the next one is long enough as it is. So...yeah.
