Round 8

Busy ako sa pagpupunas ng katawan ko gamit ang basang shirt nang marinig ko ang pagbukas at pagsara ng pinto.

I'm standing behind this door so . . . .

Nag-angat ako ng tingin at nagtama ang aming mata ng isa sa pwedeng dahilan kung bakit ako andito ngayon.

I can see the shock on her face. Medyo nakanganga pa nga siya.

Luh? what's with the reaction?

Tsaka hindi ba siya nangangalay niyan? Ndi gumagalaw eh.

Para na-----hachoo!

Naramdaman ko ang lamig at saka ko lang naalala na wala pa akong damit pantaas. Isabay mo pa na malelate na ako sa klase ko!!!

Dagli kong kinuha ang extra shirt sa bag ko at isinuot yun. Lumabas ako at tinakbo ko na ang papunta sa room ko.

5pm na at katatapos lang lahat ng klase ko for the day.

Papasok na ako sa kotse ng tumunog ang phone ko.

Dom calling . . .

"Sky!" bungad niya

"Oh?"

"Nasa Pilipinas na ako!" she giggled.

"Weh? Kelan ka dumating?"

"An hour ago. Anyways, pasundo naman ako dito sa bahay ng childhood bestfriend ko. Remember her? yung lagi kong naiikwento dati."

"Err no."

"Ugh, bakit nga ba ako umasa na matatandaan mo diba? tsk. Text ko na lang sayo yung address ha?"

"Gege."

"Okay, see you!" she hung up.

I put my phone in my pocket and got inside the car. Started the engine and drove off.

After an hour because of the damn traffic, I finally found the address that Dom sent me.

I am now standing infront of a quite big house.

I texted her to say that I'm here already.

I waited for like 10minutes before I saw my cousin coming out from house.

She wears this big smile on her face as she approched me and pulled me into a hug.

"I missed you insan."

"Ang tagal mo." I only said.

"Sorry, napasarap ang kwentuhan namin eh. Tara, pasok muna tapos pakilala na rin kita sa kanya."

"Wag na. I don't even know the her."

"Kaya nga ipapakilala kita duh!! Tara na kasi! Dami pang arte." hinila na niya ako papasok.

Hinayaan ko nalang. Hindi ako mananalo sa isang to.

We entered the living room with Dom ahead of me.

Busy ako sa pagappreciate sa design ng bahay. Maganda siya. Meditteranean ang theme.

"Here she is! Meet my cousin, Sky." I heard Dom.

"Ikaw?!"

That made me turned my attention to whom she's talking to.

Woah. Small world.

"You know each other?" Dom asked us.

Hindi siya nagsalita so I answered "Classmates. Literature."

"O eh bakit ganun nalang reaksyon mo Sunny?"

"Um nagulat lang."

"Ahh."

"Anyways, sorry to cut your catching up but I still need to do things back at home. Can we go now?" I asked Dom.

"Ow okay." she turned to Sunny "Kita kits nalang sa school bukas?"

"Huh?"

"I forgot to tell you that I will be going too in your school starting tomorrow."

"Ow I see. Sige, bukas nalang." Sunny said smiling but it faded when her eyes landed on me.

"Where's you bag?" I asked instead.

Tinuro naman ni Dom.

"Kunin mo na."

"What?"

"Ano? ako pa bubuhat? ikaw na nga makikitira eh."

She glared at me "I hate you."

Namiss kong asarin ang isang 'to.

"I know." I pinched her nose as I turned my back on them "Bye!" and walked out of the house.

I waited for her inside the car.

Minutes later, bumukas ang kabilang pinto at pumasok siya.

I quickly started the engine and
drove off.

"You two are not okay." she said out of the blue.

I shrugged "Ask your friend if you want to know."

Then, silence engulf us until we got home.

"Woah nice place." she blurted as we entered my unit.

"Thanks. So there's in food in the fridge if you want to eat. Me, I'm not hungry so I will be in my room. Yours will be right there. Okay na?"

"Yup!"

Iniwan ko na siya sa living room at pumasok sa room ko.
