I can see the tears hiding behind your eyes
I can hear the thoughts running through your brain
I have seen the papers with the messy words scrawled all over them
words that speak of pain, longing, and sadness
I know you're waiting for the end of it
I've seen this look on you before
You want to cut him off
but for some reason you can't
you're not able to let him go
you've already let him back in three times
because you weren't able to say no
I also know you're worried
that when he breaks your heart for the fourth time
you won't be able to end it

I can see how much you love him
