Dear Diary,

Water freezes, vodka does not. Those are the words to begin this. Let me say first. I DID NOT DO IT. [I really didn't.] Okay. Let's get started.

After one of my brother's sleepovers my parents discovered ice floating in the vodka. This means someone put water in the bottle. Which means someone drank some and put water in so no one could tell. I think it was my brother's friend, Mark because he has an alcohol problem already.

Today my parents asked if it was ME! I told the truth. "No it wasn't."

They kept asking and asking and I said, "No, no, no." But I don't think they believed me because they said, "I've been stressed and maybe I thought it would help."

After I said no my mom just kept staring at me. She did not believe me.

I'm hurt and angry that they thought it was me. I would never do such a thing. Besides, alcohol smells bad enough, why would I wanna drink it? I'm so scared that they just don't believe me. I'm also mad though.

Yours,
Paisley Marin

[To this day I can't believe they thought I did it. I was such a goody-two-shoes it's laughable.]
