Ch. 18

Lily woke up screaming. Lily heard footsteps running towards her bunk. Then, the curtain to Lily's bunk was pulled. "Lily are you okay?" Ari said. Lily just nodded. "Why were you screaming?" Ari asked. Lily shrugged. "Okay, are you hungry?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "Okay come on" Ari said while helping Lily out of her bunk. They both walked into the front lounge. Right when Lily walked in she ran to her backpack and grabbed her sketch book and a color pencil. 'Where is Lauren?' Lily wrote. "Lauren went to dance rehearsals. She didn't want to wake you up so she asked me to stay with you until she came back" Ari responded. Lily nodded. "What do you want to eat?" Air asked. 'Pizza!!!' Lily wrote. Air laughed a little bit. "Your just like Camila always wanting pizza" Ari said. "I'll text my manager to tell him to bring us some pizzas, okay?" Ari said. Lily nodded. "Okay he has someone getting it for us, what do you wanna do while we wait?" Ari asked. Lily thought for a few seconds. 'Read a book' Lily wrote. "You have a little bit of all the girls in you, don't you?" Ari asked. Lily nodded while smiling. "Okay go get a book you want to read" Ari said. Lily ran to her backpack and grabbed her favorite book then she ran back to Ari handing her the book. "This one?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "Okay, do you want me to read it to you or do you want to read?" Ari asked. Lily pointed to Ari. "Me?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "How old are you?" Ari asked. Lily put up five fingers. "5?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "Do you go to school?" Ari asked. Lily nodded no. "Why not?" Ari asked. 'Lauren said that they don't have time to drop me off and pick me up from school' Lily wrote. "Why don't you try online school?" Ari asked. ' Lauren said she will sign me up for online school' Lily wrote. "Oh, you should go to school your really smart for your age" Ari said. Lily nodded no. "What do you mean no?" Ari asked with a confused expression on her face. 'I don't know how to read' Lily wrote. "Oh I can teach you if you want" Ari said. "But your gonna have to talk" Ari said. Lily nodded no. "Are you sure?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "Okay well let's read this book then" Ari said while picking Lily up and taking her to the couch. A few minutes later someone came with the pizza and Ari and Lily eat the pizza. When the finished they read another book and soon Lily fell asleep in Ari's arms. Ari sat there for a few minutes then laid down with Lily still her arms and fell asleep.

~1hour later~

Ari and Lily woke up to the door of the tour bus opening and closing. When the 2 girls opened they're eyes they saw Lauren standing there looking at her phone. "Hey Laur" Ari said. "Oh hey, I thought you guys were still sleeping" Lauren said. "What are you doing here? I thought you were gonna be at rehearsals for another 2 hours" Ari asked confused. "We cut rehearsals short because we had interviews, meet&greets, and soundcheck" Lauren said. "Okay, well I have to go to soundcheck" Ari said while standing up. Before Ari walked towards the door she was stopped by Lily holding on to her leg. "What's wrong Lily?" Ari asked while bending down to her level. Lily went back and grabbed paper and a pencil. 'I don't want you to go' Lily wrote. "Lily she has to go" Lauren said while picking her up. Lily looked really sad that Ari was leaving. "I promise that after my soundcheck we can hangout" Ari said while looking at the little girl in Lauren's arms. Lily then pointed to Lauren. "You want Lauren to hangout with us too?" Ari asked. Lily nodded. "Okay, only if Lauren wants to" Ari said while looking at Lauren. Lily looked at Lauren too. "Do you want to hangout with us Lauren?" Ari asked. "Yeah sure" Lauren said. "Okay, then I'll see you guys after soundcheck" Ari said while leaving the tour bus. Lauren put Lily down. Lily grabbed paper and pencil. 'How long have you known Ari' Lily asked. "Few months, why?" Lauren asked. 'Was she one of the friends you kept on hanging out with?' Lily wrote. "Yeah, why are you asking these questions?" Lauren asked. "Why are you asking?" Lauren asked again. Lily shrugged. "Okay, come on we have to go to the dressing room" Lauren said while picking Lily up. Once Lauren and Lily walked out the tour bus a few fans walked to them. "Hi Lauren" one of the girls said. "Hi" Lauren said. "Is that Lily?" the same girl asked. "Yeah, Lily say hi" Lauren said while looking at Lily. Lily just waved then hid her face in Lauren's neck. The fans 'awed'. Lauren chuckled. "Sorry she's shy" Lauren said. "Its okay, can we take a picture with you and Lily?" Another girl asked. "Sure" Lauren said. The girl held out her phone ad took a picture with Lauren, Lily, and her friends. "Thank you" the girl said. "Your welcome" Lauren said. "Bye Lauren, bye Lily" The group of girls said while walking away. Lauren was about to say something until she got a text from the girls manager saying that he needed to talk to and the girls at they're dressing room right now. "Okay, come on Lily we have to go" Lauren said while picking Lily's backpack that was on the floor. Once Lauren and Lily got to the dressing room they saw that the girls and their manager ,Will, was waiting for her. "Hey guys" Lauren said. "Hey Lauren" Will said. "Whose this?" Will asked while pointing to Lily. "Oh, Will this is Lily she's the little girl I told you about, you know that one I adopted" Lauren said. "Oh right, its nice to meet you Lily" Will said. Lily just waved. "Sorry she's shy and doesn't really talk much" Lauren said while putting Lily down on chair. "Here Lily draw while the girls and I talk to Will" Lauren said while putting her sketch book and color pencils on the table. Lily just nodded. "Okay so what did you want to talk about?" Normani asked. "Oh right, well my son is with me on this tour and I'm really busy and I don't have anyone to take care of him and I was wondering if you could take care of him for the times that I'm really busy?" Will asked. "How old is he?" Ally asked. "He's 5" Will said. "I think its a good idea because Lily is the same age as him and Lily could have someone her age to play around with" Lauren said. "Okay, what about the rest of you girls?" Will asked. "I agree with Lauren" Camila said. After a few minutes of thinking the rest girls agreed. "Great, can you take care of him now?" Will asked. "Yeah sure" The girls said. "Awesome, I'll go get him" Will said while walking out the room. A few seconds later Will came back into the room with a little boy. "Girls this is my son Jackson" Will said. "Hi Jackson" Ally said while crouching down to his level. "Hi" Jackson said. "Jackson the girls are gonna take care of you while I go deal with some stuff for a little while and I want you to behave, okay?" Will said while looking Jackson in the eyes. "Yes dad" Jackson said. "Okay, well I got to go I'll be back to get in about 3 hours" Will said. "Okay bye Will" the girls said while Will left the room. "Hi Jackson I'm Ally and that's Camila, Dinah, Lauren, and Normani" Ally said while pointing at each of them. "Hi" Jackson said. "And this is Lily" Lauren said while picking Lily up and putting her down in front of her. "Hi Lily I'm Jackson" Jackson said while waving. Lily just waved. "She doesn't really talk" Lauren said. "Okay" Jackson said. "Lily take Jackson to the table and share your stuff so he can draw too" Lauren said. Lily just nodded and signaled Jackson to follow her. While Lily and Jackson were drawing Lauren was with the girls on the other side of the room. "Have you guys noticed that Lily hasn't talked at all since the tour started?" Normani asked. All the girls nodded. "Yeah, I wonder why she's not talking?" Camila said. "We can always ask her" Dinah said. "All she's gonna do is shrug" Ally said. "Then, how are we gonna find out why she's not talking?" Dinah asked. "The best we can do is just wait until she wants to talk to one of us or something" Lauren said while looking at the little girls drawing and laughing at something Jackson did. All the agreed to what Lauren said and changed the subject.

~A few hours later~

"Hey girls" Will said while walking into the dressing room. "Hey Will" the girls said. "Hi dad" Jackson said while looking up from his paper. "Hey Jackson, did you have fun?" Will asked while picking him up. "Yeah, me and Lily drew a lot of things" Jackson said while holding the papers he drew on. "Cool, well we have to go so say goodbye to girls and Lily" Will said while putting Jackson down. "Bye girls, Bye Lily" Jackson said while waving. "Bye Jackson" the girls said. Lily just waved. "Thanks again girls have a great show" Will said while walking out the dressing room. "Well we have to get ready for the show" Ally said. "Okay" All the girls changed into they're show outfits and got they're hair and make-up done. "You guys are on in 6 minutes" a crew member yelled into the dressing room. The girls said Okay and started walking towards the door. "Come on Lily you and Ari are gonna watch the show" Lauren said while picking Lily up and walking out the dressing room. "Hey girls" Ari said. "Hey Ari" the girls said. "Hi Lily" Ari said while taking Lily out of Lauren's arms. Lily waved. "You girls have to go on now" one of the crew members told the girls. "Have a great show" Ari said to the girls as they walked into the stage to get into position.

~Skip got the end of the show~

"Okay guys this is the last song and I would to bring out someone really special to me" Lauren said into the microphone and walking off the stage. The girls grabbed the chairs so they can sit on it while Lauren went to take Lily out of Ari's arms. Lauren came back with Lily and saint in a chair. "You guys all know Lily, right?" Lauren said in the microphone. The fans screamed. "Say hi Lily" Lauren said while looking down at Lily. Lily just waved and hid her face in Lauren's shirt. The crowd 'awed' and Lauren smiled. "Okay, so we're gonna sing Lego house for Lily since she likes it when we sing it to her" Lauren said. After a few seconds the beat to Lego house started playing and the girls started singing. When the girls were done singing Lily yawned and the crowd 'awed'. "Looks like someone is sleepy, I hope you guys enjoyed our performance" Lauren said. And the rest of the girls said thank you while Lauren tried to put Lily on a comfortable position. "Thank you guys and goodnight" Lauren said in the microphone while walking off the stage. "You guys were amazing" Ari said with a big smile on her face. "Thanks" Lauren said. "Well I have to go get change and help Lily change so see you later" Lauren said while walking off to the dressing room. Once Lauren was all changed the girls came into the dressing room and started changing. Once Lauren was done helping Lily change the girls were done and waiting for Lauren. "I'm so tired" Ally said while walking into the bus. "Me too" the rest for the girls said while walking in behind her. "Well I'm going to bed goodnight guys" Dinah said while walking into the bunk area. "Me too night Lauren" the rest of the girls said while walking in the bunk area. Lauren was left alone in the front lounge with Lily. "Alright Lily lets go to bed" Lauren said while standing up. Lily stayed sitting down. "Come on Lily" Lauren said. Lily nodded no and stayed seated. "Lily we have to go to sleep" Lauren said while trying to pick Lily up but Lily just moved away from her arms. "Please Lily" Lauren pleaded. Lily nodded no. Lauren sighed and tried to get Lily to sleep. It was getting really late, Lily was laying down on the couch while Lauren was sitting on the floor trying to get Lily to sleep. Lauren stayed up all night trying to get Lily to sleep.

A/N: Hey y'all. School is almost over (finally). And I'm happy because some of my problems are gonna be gone and ill get to update more. Sorry for any spelling and grammar mistakes. Give me some ideas for any future chapters. I hope y'all are enjoying the book so far.
