The crowd chanted. Two individuals inside a caged ring. Ready to collide any moment.

The two just stared at each other.

"Let's get this battle started!" the announcer yelled.

Ting!

Ting!

Ting!

Kalalabas ko lang ng airport ng tumunog ang phone ko.

Kuya calling. . .

"Yes Kuya?"

"Andyan ka na ba?"

"Yup! Sasakay na nga ako ng taxi eh."

"Good. You'll be okay naman diba?"

"Yes. Nakakapanibago dahil malayo kayo but I'll survive."

My family lives in Canada. We were born here but raised there.

I've been independent for 5 years already but living in a country without any of them is different.

"Alright. If anything happens call me, ayt?"

"Aye aye captain!"

Binaba na niya ang tawag. Pumara ako ng taxi at binigay sa driver ang address ng bago kong titirahan dito sa Pilipinas.

I sighed.

So totoo pala talaga na grabe ang traffic dito.

Nasa 30 minutes lang daw sana ang biyahe namin ayon sa driver pero isang oras ang nakalipas bago kami nakarating sa lugar.

We stopped at the front of a luxurious building.

Pumasok ako at dumiretso sa front desk.

"Good morning Ma'am! What can I do for you?" nakangiting bati ng babae sakin.

"Hi! I'm Sky Quintana. I bought a unit here a few days ago."

"Please wait for a moment Ma'am." after a few seconds "Ms. Quintana, you chose the unit 824 east wing?"

"Yes."

"Ma'am please sign here." pinirmahan ko ang papel na binigay niya.

"Ma'am someone will help you with your lug-----"

"Ah no need. I can manage." isang maliit na maleta lang naman ang dala ko.

"If that's what you want Ma'am. Welcome to Majestic Residences."

"Thank you." I said and walk to the elevator.

Nang makarating sa 8th floor ay hinanap ko na ang unit ko.

Impernes sa condominium na ito, maganda ang architectural design. You'll feel like a royalty.

This is it.

I scanned the keycard that the woman gave me. I twisted the knob and pushed the door.

I toured myself. It has two rooms. The kitchen is quite spacious. The view at the balcony is breathtaking since it is near the ocean.

Sakto lang yung mga appliances na pinabili ko.

The place is good. This will be my home for I don't know how long.

I sighed.

Welcome home to me.

Aaaaand I'm back! hahaha. So I'm gonna try an action story this time and I don't know if I can give justice to that hahaha. Anyways, the updates won't be weekly because I'm feeling lazy these days.

Off topic though, Valdez's UAAP exit was heartbreaking :'(
