Her

For these past few weeks
I found myself learning to smile again
My outlook on life no longer bleak
With you, my life began

Seeing you makes my heart dance for joy
You make it harder and harder to breathe whenever I'm around ya
Finally i can replace the parts that was once toyed with
But I'm afraid this relationship will just be an another Murphy's law

My friends keep asking when will you be my girlfriend?
A part of me is hesitant
For i fear you will see me as just a friend
Cause baby you're my drug, my medicine

I guess Shakespeare wasn't kidding
Having expectations really does get you hurt
But I don't mind cause all day I'd rather be grinning
Than be without you to only fall apart

Can't help but miss you across the border
I'd build a bridge to the moon just to see you.
A minute without you is me one step closer to getting a sleep disorder
Promise me you will come back soon cause God knows when I might turn blue

Hey Strangers, hope yall are well. Okay so this poem was written about the girl I wanted to kiss so badly in my previous poem...so she's not originally from Singapore, she's from Malaysia so during our term break, she went back to her hometown and it definitely sucked being apart from her.

Anyways, leave a vote or a comment below about you felt being away from someone you loved. As always love ya😘😘
