Dan Howells family wasn't exactly the brightest.

They were your average boring family, with no pizzazz. They don't even speak. Nothing special. Nothing nice. Just placidly boring. Even Dan's shiba is boring.

Dan didn't like it like that, he enjoyed action and thriller.

Dan walked into his house and greeted his father.

"Hello."

He just received a grunt from him, not even looking up from his newspaper.

His mother was cooking dinner and his brother was doing homework. His dog was asleep on the couch.

It seemed like they could care less about anything that has to do with Dan.

Dan ran up to his room and flopped on bed.

He sighed deeply and closed his eyes. He imagined Phil's eyes, the one and only thing that was hard to describe.

Then he thought about the bet.

Dan groaned and felt his phone buzz.

Dan smiled a little bit, then frowned. He wasn't really in the mood for anything.

Dan hadn't paid attention to his phone after that. Just in his own world. After all, he was nostalgic person.

Dan sighed deeply, he couldn't focus on what was going on.

He was regular, like his family. But he wanted different.

Dan bit his lip and turned back to his phone.

Me: I'm comin over soon, also I'll be staying the nite.

"Mom, I'm staying over at PJ's, I'll be back tomorrow." Dan said to his mom as he grabbed his coat.

"Be safe." Is all she said.

Dan grabbed his car keys and stepped out of his house.

He got in his car and drove off.

I don't know why, I just feel I'm better off, staying in the same room I was born in.

Dan soon drove up to PJ house and honked at him.

PJ opened his window and sent him a confused look

"Get in loser," Dan giggled, "we're going shopping!" Dan yelled out to him.

Me: well you thought wrong, come on I need to buy stuff

Pjsuxpeni: ugh fine, but Imma look like trash cause this was unexpected ,you prick

Dan smiled and hummed along to the music that was smiling.
