We stayed in our human forms as we walked through the jungle like area. Raven would stop every so often to ask a question about our mission, which worried me. She even asked what we were doing here. Her memory was getting worse and worse, and I was terrified she was going to lose it all.

"We're almost there." I shouted from behind me. "Where?" Raven asked, for the umpteenth time.

I groaned. She'd asked at least a million times. I couldn't blame her though, I mean it's not her fault that a freaky creep injected her with century year old legendary liquid from a burnt down tree told in fairy tales. It was mine, and that was what made it harder to cope.

"Blue Fire pack." I said gruffly. I heard her snicker from behind. I swiftly turned to look at her.

"I knew that time, I was just tuggin your nuts." She said and burst into hysterics. I huffed and rolled my eyes. Although Raven's memory was gone, she still had her spunky personality. That alone made me smile.

Her laugh was musical and filled the air with a lightness. Her eyes would squint, leaving her pale green orbs in a slit. Her perfect pink lips would turn into a smile, her perfect teeth shining through. She was over all perfection, and I was the luckiest guy in the world to have her as a mate.

"What?" She asked, her musical laughter coming to an end. I let out a smirk. "Nothing." I said with the shake of my head. She groaned and put her hands on her hips.

"That's not fair. Tell me why you have a smirk plastered on  your face!" She demanded in a whiny voice as we crossed a small river, small stones allowing us access to the other side without stepping into the water. I was near the shallow side, but it quickly deepened to the point where I couldn't see the bottom. It was dangerous of course. The water was raging, but this was the only way we could get across.

"Nahh." I said and made it to another stone in the water. I heard her grunt, and a small shriek left her lips. I barely had time to turn around to see Raven flying sideways. It was almost like it was in slow motion. Her eyes  were wide with audible shock written in them. Her flawless brown hair whipped behind her, her hands outstretched in different directions.

Immediately, my protective instinct kicked in. My long arms reached out to embrace Raven. She landed into my arms, which I then pulled her into my chest. Sparks flew up and down my body, and I could tell she felt it too judging by the way her eyes widened even more.

Then it went back to normal motion. We each flew backwards, and a coldness surrounded me and her as well. All hell broke loose after that.

Raven was no longer in my arms, causing my wolf to growl in fury, desperate to have her back in our arms. I was still under water, the raging water thrashing my body to all different sides. I mustered up the incredible strength to pull myself to the surface. My face felt cooled by the air, and it easily flew into my lungs.

"Raven!!" I screamed over the pounding water. I could feel myself being forced into a direction, but I wasn't going anywhere until I had my mate in my arms.

I looked all around me as water splurged into my eyes and into my nose and mouth. I saw no sign of my precious mate, causing me to panic. I had to find her. She had to be safe.

"Ty.!!! . grb . .. " I heard in the distance. I stared in front of me, where the water was urging me forwards. Raven's head was bobbing up and down and never before had I seen her so panicked - so vulnerable. Her brown hair was plastered to her head and was swishing in the water.

She was truly terrified. Raven always seemed so composed, witty and always ready. Now her hands were flailing, desperate to keep herself alive. It was killing me to see her like this. My instincts finally kicked in once more. I forced myself to swim faster to her, although the current was deciding it wasn't sure on where to direct me.

More than once, I felt salt go down my throat, and watery eye vision over took my heightened one. "Raven!" I screamed once more. Raven's frantic green eyes locked on mine, and she screamed the words I never thought I'd hear her say with such desperation.

"Tyler!!!!!" And with that, her head went under, but not before her back hit up against a harsh rock. I growled to myself before forcing my legs and hands to swim faster than before. My limbs were aching, and my wolf was growling. I plummeted under water, searching for my mate. Her body was in front of me, her hair splayed in all directions.

Without thinking, I then reached for her arm, and pulled her body into my chest. I felt so much more secure now that she was in my arms, but I was still in a desperate frenzy to get her out of the water and get fresh air in her lungs. I heavily forced us upwards, although my muscles were on fire.

I reached the surface once more, and kept Raven's head faced up so she could breathe without inhaling any water in her inconscious state.

Suddenly, something gripped my backpack, which was still on my shoulders, and I was pulled out of the water, Raven still in my tight grip. I landed on the ground, as did Raven. Droplets from my hair fell to the ground. Unknowingly, I glanced up and saw two hulking wolves above us. They became incredibly blurry, before black and red dots over took my senses, sending me to a deep sleep.

Thought I needed a more 'action based' chapter.
