Y/N and Minho were in the maze running, trying to get back into the glade in time but the doors were about to close and Y/N was hurt, very hurt. There were no chance that Minho would get into the glade in time while having Y/N on his shoulders.
Thomas would do anything to save Y/N, especially now that he saw she was hurt, he needed to save her, so he did something he wasn't allowed to do, he ran into the maze, just to save you.
"Thomas, no!" The whole group in the glade yelled as Newt tried to grab his arm.
