Anyway, I walked back to the table. I knew it was gonna have to be Vikk, obviously. I mean, after hearing he's been skipping school, for the first time ever, may I add, for MY sister. Shouldn't I have just told her? He sighed. "What do you want now?" Yup. Don't blame him for being annoyed.

" I'm sorry. I know what you're thinking. But I was stressed." I answered, pointlessly trying to make up poor excuses for my actions.

"You're stressed?" I laughed "As if skipping school and lying isn't bad enough, and trying to keep her happy, after your shit show! Have you even spoken to her since?" I paused as he bombarded me with questions "no, I didn't think so" he said, frustrated.

Vikk told me to wait here while he knocked on her bedroom door. I heard it unlock, she looked upset and scared, I saw as I peered at the corner. As she looked up at Vikk, her eyes literally lit with joy, she immediately pulled him in a tight hug. "Why is he here...?" She asked. I came out. "Uh...hey...look, I just want to explain..." I looked back at her
"Look, Lilly, I'm sorry for never telling you I was your brother.." he said his words slowly

"I didn't want you asking about dad, finding out he was a 'drug addict' ... if he found out who his daughter was, you would be less safe in many ways I don't want to imagine, none of us do" I continued.

"that is no excuse! You should have informed me. I thought you were dead! Do you know what that's like?!" she shouts

"yes, I do, because dad told me you were murdered!" she fell silent as I spat that back.
