Chapter 29 - I'm Sorry

She slowly turns her head back, looking at my direction.

Looking at me.

I say her name once again, "Cassandra,"

She stands up and starts walking away, but I quickly grabbed a hold of her arm. "Cassandra, listen to me first,"

She was trying to pull away from my grip, trying to break free, but after a while she eventually gave up. "What do you want?" She asked, making me loose the grip on her arm that made her look up to me. 

"I'm sorry," I said. "I know I've caused you a lot of pain. I know you've got hurt when I found another girl and I know how much depressed you are,"

She blankly stared at me which made me continue talking, "I remember the first time we met, you were running after your dog, Dean. You crashed into me, I was in a bad mood but you didn't know that so instead you said sorry and you told me your name and I told mine as well."

"I remember that masquerade ball. I saw you again, you're wearing the most elegant dress and behind those masks you're still the Cassandra I know. You told me that you wanted to escape and that made me happy because for once in my life, there is a person who feels the same as I do. We escaped, we were in front of newspapers but we didn't care."

"Police were after us, but we didn't care,"

"All we cared about is ourselves, our love. Both of us, together. We told each other that nothing would get between our way. We promised a love that would last forever."

"When I thought I lost you, the world shattered, my heart got broken."

"I got into an accident for saving your life and I don't regret it," I cupped her cheek with my hand and she lets a tear fall. "I do regret the fact that I found a girl that I know I couldn't even love because my heart was still yours,"

"My heart is forever with you and no matter what happens, I'm never going to give up. I'm not going to give up getting you back, even if I die trying." I brush her tear with my thumb, it wasn't much time when I realize that tears were brimming out of my eyes.

She looks up at me, cupping both of my cheeks, wiping my tears as well.

"I'm sorry," I let out a shaky breath, "I'm sorry for everything I did to you,"

"I'm sorry for--" she put her index finger in front of my lips, cutting me off.

"Harry... Shhh," She sniffles a little and smile through her tears.

"I forgive you,"

Those words she said were so clear as crystals. I am so happy, the joy I feel right now is unexplainable. I cupped both of her cheeks with my hands, she smiles and I smile as well.

"I love you," she says, "I still love you,"

"Well yeah I know,"I smirked, kissing her forehead.

"Wait, how do you even know?" She asked as she furrows her eyebrows.

"Well, Niall... He listens," I laughed.

"Oh my god, are you kidding? That leprechaun!" She laughed through tears, smiling and leaning her cheek against my hands.

"Well Cassandra, I love you too," I said, she leans in closer to my face and I cannot help but laugh at how needy she is because she suddenly grabs the back of my neck, pulling me closer.

"Ooooh, someone's needy and desperate," I teased, laughing.

"Shut up and kiss me," she smiled, pulling me in and I kissed her.

The kiss is beautiful. The way our lips move in sync, as if this is the kiss we were going to share for a very long time. I miss her.

I miss all of this.

Her kiss.

Her touch.

Her lips.

Her curves.

Her body.

Her.

I'm never going to let her go.

Never again.

She's mine.

I got her heart.

And she has mine.

"Goooooo HARREH!" We quickly pulled away from each other, our heads snapping up to the balcony.

Niall!!

We both laughed at how drunk he is and how Gwen is super annoyed.

We looked at each other once again and share a kiss that will be ours forever.
