Chapter 22 - Remember

Harry

I really hope I could remember soon.

All I do in this house is wake up, sleep, eat, drink medicine and sleep again.

I'm really glad Niall, Gwen and Cassandra is here to keep me company, they're all amazing.

Niall is full of laughs and jokes. Gwen is sweet and I seriously can tell Niall and Gwen are in love with each other. They look good, it's like they're really meant for each other.

Cassandra.

Well, she's taking care of me. I see her laugh and smile at times, especially when we all get to play monopoly and Niall cracks up because he keeps on losing.

But there is something bothering her, I could see it in her eyes. Her eyes seems to be holding too much pain.

Is it because of me?

Right now, I'm inside my room looking out the window. I really love rain. It's my kind of weather. I love the sound of rain drops falling on the roof.

The cold feeling it gives off, making the windows fog up. As I was looking out,I saw Cassandra walking under the rain, she was off somewhere? Suddenly intrigued, I went down, grabbing my coat and followed her.

Silently.

Where is she going?

I continued following her, all the way to the backyard of this villa. I wonder where she's going?

I stopped for a while, hiding behind the bushes, peeking my way through. She climbed up some kind of a big boulder
rock.

She was crying.

Why is she crying?

The rain continued falling down, it was causing a big splashes on the ground and is clearly soaking my clothes.

And Cassandra's clothes.

She was crying, screaming. Looking up the sky, looking down.

"I don't understand why all this things happened!!"

"I wish I got hit by that car!"

"Why did this things happened to him?!?"

She was sobbing, her breathing is heavy.

She's crying because of me...

She's cursing and swearing, things that I wish she didn't say.

"Harry isn't the one who's supposed to be struggling!"

"It's supposed to be me,"

"This is all my fault," she cried, gasping for air.

Cassandra, please stop.

"I'm the one who's supposed to have amnesia, not him!"

"I wish I could just die,"

I can't take this anymore, I ran up and hugged her.

She looked at me, as if I was the most important thing in the world. She shut her eyes, letting her tears fall. The rain was falling down on us, hard. I put my coat on her head.

"It won't do any good, if you're out here. Under this pouring rain," I told her, she looked at me.

"You heard everything, didn't you?" She asked me, her eyes piercing through my soul.

"My coat didn't do anything," I chuckled, shaking my head.

"You didn't answer my question!" She screamed but quickly taking it back.

"I-I-I'm... So.. So-sorry," she said, running hands through her soaking hair.

I took a breath, patting her head. "I'm okay."

"It's not your fault that this happened to me. Something tells me that I saved your life because you are a very important person. It doesn't all make sense now but soon it'll be." I told her, smiling, showing off my dimples.

She just nodded her head, smiling.

This time. It's a real one.

A real smile.

A sweet smile.

Flashes come back into my mind.

We were dancing, she was in a mask, I do think I was too.

It's like we practiced it so many times, but I know we didn't.

This was a masquerade ball.

It was when we both ran away from home.

Ruining me out of my thoughts was when she speaks.

"I hope you remember soon,"

I smiled at her, holding her hand.

"You know, we should probably go, we might get sick," I said, laughing.

We shared my coat, going back to the villa to see Niall and Gwen waiting for us, with worried faces.

"Jeeezz, man. I thought you guys were gone!" Niall said, calming down.

"Sorry mate, kind of got lost in the woods," I said, looking at Cassandra and winking at her, she smiled back.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever guys, let's get inside, you guys are soaking!" Gwen said, opening the door for us.

We went inside and well, let's just say a lot of weird things happened.
