Chapter 12 - Operation?!

After the sexy moment with Cassie, I could not help but worry about Niall. I am soooo worried about him right now, he's my best mate, I cannot even look at him because he is seriously in pain. He keeps on clutching hard on his stomach and I continued to drive even faster.

"Baby, Niall, please hang in there, I'm here," Gwen said, holding Niall's hand and comforting him, squeezing his hands, I know she's afraid, we all are. Something's wrong with him, I need to hurry.

Once we arrive in the hospital, I quickly called a nurse and we rushed Niall to the emergency room, Cassandra was hugging Cassie, rubbing her back as she cried. Damn, she really loves Niall.

Niall was being checked up by doctors and they had to go get his blood sample for testing.

"Niall, mate. We got you," I said, looking at him. He's so sick.

He smiled weakly and then back to gasping from the pain he felt. "Stay strong man, Gwen loves you so much. And all of us care about you, trust me, all of this pain will be over soon,"

After I said that, doctors came rushing in with Gwen and Cassandra following too. "Mam, sir, we have got to bring Mr. Horan in the operation room."

"Operation?!" Gwen screamed, "N-Niall, please be okay!" She was sobbing now, I can feel her pain.

Doctors injected something on Niall system which made him fall asleep, they rushed him to the operating room and I looked at the doctor, "What is wrong with my friend?!"

"You have to calm down sir," the doctor said, signaling the nurse to rush him to the operating room.

"I don't want to calm the fuck down! Just tell me what the fuck is wrong with my best friend!!" I screamed, almost about to punch the wall beside me. I felt a hand intertwine with mine, making me calm. Cassie, my girl, was beside me.

"Oka-okay, I'm sorry. But, can you just tell me what's wrong with him?" I looked at the doctor pleadingly and he nodded.

"He has appendicitis, it is a common disorder and we have to remove it because it will only make things worse for him. It got really inflamed and a lot of pus has been seen," the doctor explained, looking back at Gwen who was just sitting on the chair, very traumatized as to what has happened.

"Alright. Do the best you can, please just, make sure, he'll be okay," I said, the doctor nodded and left off to go the operation room.

Cassandra and I sat down beside Gwen, she was still crying.

"Gwen, it'll be okay," I told her, "The doctors said they will do the best they can to make Niall better,"

Gwen nodded but tears were still streaming down her face. She was really worried and scared as to what happened to Niall. Then I've realized that this is what true love really is.

Gwen loves Niall so much.

And Niall loves Gwen so much as well.

I cannot find the words to say, but Love is, well, Love is everything. You know? I'm a little cheeky, but now I know what true love really is.

I fall in love with Cassie, the moment I saw her.

That night when we dance in that ball, all I wanted to do was to make her mine. To love her, to start a family and all the things I just want to do with her. She was the best thing that has ever happened to my life and I want her to know that.

I looked over at Cassie and she looked at me as well, "Hi," I said, smiling.

"Hey," she giggles, "Harold," she stifles a laugh, because she knows that I really get annoyed whenever someone calls me 'Harold' that name makes me feel like an idiot, so I don't like people calling me that.

It's a SHITTY name after all.

"We should get something to eat," Cassie said, standing up and helping Gwen stand up as well. We went down the cafeteria to eat, hours passed and we had to get back up there.

When we arrive, exactly Niall was done with his operation, they put him in a really nice hospital room, which would be the place we could crash in too.

Gwen stayed beside him all the time, waiting for him to wake up. While, I felt really sleepy. I hadn't have much sleep because of the party last night.

"Hey Haz? If you want to sleep, you can," Cassie said, smiling sweetly. "I'll wake you up when Niall's awake,"

I smiled, laying my head down on Cassie's lap, were currently on the couch inside the hospital room. I made myself comfortable, closing my eyes.

I felt Cassie, caressing my hair, messing it up a little, but it's alright. I love her anyway, a few seconds later.

I finally been able to sleep, the darkness enveloping me.
