Dan's POV

It was a tiring journey, but we made it to the airport. It was rather stressful getting here, but we are here now. We were walking quickly through the crowds of people waiting, when I literally just freaked out internally. The flight was going to leave in 5 minuets. Where the hell is the gate for the flight?!

"Dan... calm down. You're stressing out." Phil wasn't looking at me when I looked over. "What? How do you even..." He looked at me with a smirk. "I can tell." I rolled my eyes and smiled. "This is one of the many reasons why I love you." I told him. I quickly pecked his cheek as we then started walking off to the gate for the flight.

"Dan, over there." Phil seemed so calm during this whole thing. How does he manage it? I followed him, getting my and his tickets out and walking to the lady standing by the gate. "Hello, Tickets?" She asked with a smile. I smiled back awkwardly and passed them. She ripped something off and then let us go through. "Enjoy your flight." I nodded once and looked at Phil who was holding back a laugh and shrugged at me. I grabbed his hand and pulled him down the walk way to reach the plane.

We got to the stewardess and she looked at our tickets for the seats and pointed us to the back of the plane. "Dan?" Phil quickly spoke up. I turned to look at him. "Yes Phil?"

"I love you..." He stopped his sentence to kiss me. "But I'm sitting by the window." He winked at me and grinned turning to walk to our seats. Cheeky little bugger took the tickets off me to check where we were sitting. I love sitting by the window. Yes, I look like a child pointing out all the things looking tiny, but I don't care.

Phil put one of the bags he was holding in the overhang thing, and I walked over to put a bag I had up there. Phil had already taken his seat by the window and I pouted at him frowning, sitting down and folding my arms. I hadn't put my belt on and he had.

"Dan, put your belt on!" I rolled my eyes and put it on with fake anger. "Happy?" I looked at him again. We both burst into laughter. When the laughing died down, he looked at me. "I love you Dan." I blushed a little and smiled "I love you too Phil."

The plane was starting to move after a few minuets, and I had my phone in hand ready for when the plane was in the air. I always listen to music on flights. As soon as the plane was steadily flying I turned my phone on and put my headphones in. Phil was looking out the window at the clouds.

I put my headphones on and turned the music up, leaning my head back and listening to the music, waiting to fall asleep. We had to get up at 5:00 this morning. I had about an hours sleep before we were up and off for our flight. We're going to be here for a while. I fell asleep, with fireworks playing as i drifted off, thinking about what was to come in a week.

~1 week later~

I was holding Phil's hands in mine, as we said our words. I was tearing up, but I didn't let them fall yet. The words came out of his mouth almost instantly. "I do." I smiled, letting the tears fall not being able to hold them. I wasn't really listening to the words being said, which led to Phil's smile faltering a little bit.

"I do." My voice was almost a whisper. I knew he heard it, he was smiling again. Tears were in his eyes too. Time went by so fast I almost felt like it was a dream. Phil leaned in for a kiss and I kissed him back, before we pulled away a few minuets later. I held one of his hands turning to look at everyone in the audience. Our family managed to make it here, all to see us get married.

My life couldn't get any better. In the beginning, I had no one. I had no best friend... I had barely any friends... and now. I'm married. I have an amazing husband, we have a house together now as we moved out of the flat, we have a supportive community that we love dearly. We have come so far since 18 years ago.

The entire wedding was filmed, and we are going to come out together... posting the wedding to YouTube. We don't care if we have people disapproving, we love each other... and love is love. If I never had a crush on Phil... if we never even ended up at the same school... we wouldn't have met each other. The chances would have ended up being small.

The night was soon coming, and the sky was a mix of orange and purple, the clouds causing the colours to ripple in the sky. "Dan?" I heard Phil say my name quietly. "Hmm?" I look down from the sky to him. "I love you so much." I smiled and leaned close to him, our lips connecting for a short amount of time. Short but perfect.

"I love you too Phil." I mumbled after we pulled away. We both looked back at everyone who was clapping. My parents didn't accept it at first, but they soon realised... they had no choice. Not only because we were a "match", but because no matter what happened... what was said to me... anything bad happened. Phil is the first I would go to. No matter who was the first to me I would only talk to Phil. They then let it slowly sink in that I truly do love Phil, and no matter what people said to me I wasn't going to let Phil go. I'm happy with Phil, happier than ever.
