"Lena."

"Lena."

I ignored the nudges to my shoulder.

"Lena, wake up."

I ignored the tug on my blanket, my fluffy comfortable blanket.

"No, dad. I'm fine, really," I mumble.

My warmth and fluff were then taken away from me. I felt a cold exposure hit my skin. I bolt up and hug my legs for some heat.

"Nice pajamas, Lena."

I slowly open my eyes to brace myself for the brightness. To my surprise, there is none. The blinds aren't shut.

My eyes widen, "The sun is not even out!"

"Come on, get up. We're going to London today, remember?"

I look over to who I thought was my dad, but turns out is actually Carter.

I yank my blanket back and quickly cover up my Minnie Mouse shorts and matching top.

"Couldn't you tell by my voice that I wasn't your father?" He teases.

"Give me a break, it's like five in the morning," I said defending myself.

"Close, it's about 3:30"

"3:30! I went to sleep two hours ago!" I groan.

I throw my head back down to my pillow and refuse to get up.

"Don't you want to go to London?"

I automatically sit back up again.

"Freak, I have to get ready."

I jump out of bed and head towards my room's closet.

"Did you just say freak?"

"Should I wear something comfy for the plane ride, or something cute for when we land?"

"Do you not swear?"

I face Carter with my arms folded.

"I swear I'll hit you if you don't answer my question."

"Comfy."

I turn back around and grab my black sweatshirt that has Mickey Mouse's silhouette, and grey joggers.

"By the time we'll be in London, it'll be nighttime there anyways."

"Wait, what?"

"You know, the moon will be out not the sun. It'll be dark and stars are out."

"I know what night is, Carter. I just didn't realize we'd get there late."

"Jet lag. I could sense it already," he sighs.

"Okay, get out. I have to change."

Carter steps out, and just as he was about to close the door he mentions, "by the way, your dad is waiting for you in the parking garage."

I groan, "CARTER! You could've told me that in the first place!"

I rush to change into my clothes and gather up my extra things laying around.
