"We need those coordinates now!" Jacob yelled at a poor young and scrawny R.I.P agent who had been sent to retrieve Blaire's location on the computer. He was typing as fast as he could but it wasn't fast enough to please Jacob, apparently.

"If you stop hovering over him maybe he'll be able to get them for you," I told Jacob, trying to calm him down.

"What if she's dead? What if they killed her?" he asked me wide eyed and normally I'm supposed to answer rationally and with facts. Its what we do, we're supposed to tell people our opinions straight up with out sugar coating it. However as I looked at his vulnerable eyes and clenched fists I knew that what Jacob needed right now was not an investigator, he needed a friend.

"Blaire is going to be ok, we're not going to let anything happen to her," I said placing a hand on my shoulder.

"But what if they killed her because she's not worth any money like Marco is? Because I would pay! Charlee you know I would give them every cent that I've got in order to have Blaire back but they don't know that! They're going to kill her and she'll never know how I felt about her because I was such an ass. I screwed it up and now she's gone," he had begun pacing and now that he turned around I could see his pained expression.

"Blaire isn't dead, I know my friend. She's not going to go down this way, I promise she's going to live to see and kick your ass again now get your shit together Jacob Callahan," I told him raising my voice in order to stop his rambling.

"That's not my last name anymore," he replied giving me a half smile. It didn't quite reach his eyes but he was making an effort so I smiled back

"I've got the coordinates!" the agent yelled, scribbling them down on a piece of paper which Jacob all but snatched out of his hands.

"C'mon, everyone is waiting for us," I told Jacob and we left the control to my aunt's office where everyone else was prepping to leave.

"Hey check it out, we raided the weapon's room!" Bianca said sounding eerily like Blaire. I tried to offer her a smile.

"Wait, what are you guys wearing?" I asked them, taking in everyone's outfits. They were clad in black with bulky backpacks and weapons strapped over every inch of their bodies.

"We're not going to war, you know?" Jacob said raising an eyebrow.

"You can't be too over prepared," Akio shrugged his shoulders.

"Actually, yes you can. We're going to follow this trace god knows where. That means we have to be able to fit in. We can't go marching through the streets of Rome looking like ninjas," I reminded them.

"How are we supposed to carry our things around if we can't look like this?" Lavender asked.

"Have you forgotten who the expert in gadgets is? Follow me," I told them leading them out of Aunt Ally's office and towards another room I had seen earlier.

"This is the all purpose room, it has all sorts of gadgets. We're going to pose as tourists as we follow the coordinates. Go change into your regular clothes and each of you can have one backpack, be creative with the gadgets," I explained unlocking the door with the code my aunt had given me.

"How do we know where we're even going?" Eric asked me as everyone scavenged through the stacks of things that might be useful.

"Jacob is putting the coordinates in a GPS right now. Oh and be careful with the gadgets, some of them are still being tested," I warned everyone.

"I don't get how these things work?" Akio muttered in confusion. He was looking at a leather wallet, there was nothing inside except spare change.
