"Okay so you're saying I've got to use anger to control my werewolf side?" Scott asked Derek.

Derek nodded. I was wondering why I could hear him so well when I remembered my super hearing.

"What's this about using anger to control my werewolf side?" I asked.

"Derek was trying to explain to Scott that he had to muster up every bit of anger he felt and use it to gain control." Stiles answered.

"Yeah..and Scott here isn't understanding this."Derek rolled his eyes.

"Well why don't YOU try doing that-" Scott began before realizing that Derek himself had done that plenty of times.

"Amaryllis, why don't you give it a try. Think of what angers you the most, and see if you can draw out your animal side."

"Shouldn't be too hard, I draw out my animal side every night." I winked. It took them a sec, but the three guys finally realized the meaning of my words. I was joking of course. Truthfully, it would be pretty hard for me to use anger to control this new found power. I mean, there's little to nothing I've ever gotten angry at. I tried my best, but after a few loud "AGHH" ing and a frustrated Derek both Scott and I gave up.

"Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for you guys?" Stiles tried to lighten up the mood as we got into the jeep.

"Stiles, this is a lot more serious than we're taking it. We could KILL someone. A living breathing person could DIE because of us." Scott's words made me realize that, this stuff was real, and it was definitely, like he said, a lot more serious than the three of us were taking it.

It had been a week since any of us talked to Derek. Maybe he just gave up on us? It doesn't matter though, because Scott and Stiles figured it out. They figured out a working tactic to controlling Scott's werewolf side. Allison. It seemed that Allison was a type of..anchor..for Scott. Just thinking about her, her voice, her touch, her everything made him human. But I was still struggling. Of course I've never, as Derek called it, shifted, on accident, because unlike Scott, I was rarely ever angered. But that wouldn't matter on the full moon. I'd shift whether it was triggered or not. I had to keep working on it. I didn't have an anchor, and I didn't have anger. How would I control my shifts? The thought of ending someone's life haunted my every waking moment and made my dreams into nightmares.

Today was it. Tonight was the night the moon would become full. Tonight was the night I would go insane, let the werewolf in me take over, and kill, kill as my rampage would let me kill. Scott had no worries, he knew how to control it. He wouldn't have to go through a single full moon without this control. Me? There was a possibility every full moon would be a bloody mess for me. These thoughts continued to storm my mind through every class. Scott and Stiles could tell I was scared. They were scared for me. After school, we all went to lacrosse. Scott to practice, Stiles to practice sitting on the bench, and myself, simply watching them. Scott was amazing, Stiles sat with great poise, and I, I cheered emptily, too fearful to feel anything. After practice, I went with the guys and waited outside the locker room. After I was sure everyone but Scott and Stiles were out I went inside. And of course, Isaac was still there. However, he a shirt on this time.

"Come to stare again?"

"Hah, no. I can do that on my own time." There we stood, like always, exchanging flirtatious banter. For a few minutes every day, I'd catch him in the locker room, or in the hallways, or heading home, and I was slowly falling for him. For his deep eyes, his hypnotic voice, his toned chest, his defined jaw and sharp facial features, and his impossibly attractive personality. I wanted more of him, but I didn't know if he felt the same. I tried to listen to his heart, but I think I paid more attention to him and wasn't focused on seeing if he liked me.

"You um- you okay?"

I looked up, and smiled a meaningless smile. "Yeah I'm fine."

He raised an eyebrow and moved closer to me. He was about a head taller than me, so I had to look up at him, which I didn't like at all, it hurt my neck a little. Placing his hands on my shoulders, he looked into my eyes. "You don't seem okay. I mean you've seemed pretty upset all day today."

"Well it's ju- wait..all day? How did-? I- I don't have any classes with you..and I haven't seen you in the halls today."

"I-I um..I'm guessing."

"You said I 'looked' upset all day..if you were guessing, you wouldn't have used vocabulary like that. " This time, I didn't have to try to hear his heartbeat pounding against his ribcage.

"Okay..so maybe I wasn't guessing."

"Ha no shit Sherlock."

"I kind of..well I kind of try to catch glances of you..without you knowing."

"Wow stalker much? Why?"

"Because I- I.." He never finished. Instead, he put his hands on my face, looked at me and placed his lips on mine.
