I closed and locked the door as soon as Zayn's motorbike rolled away. He drove me home tonight and I invited him inside the house for some tea, which he accepted. We chatted for more than thirty minutes and he left when he realized that it was almost midnight.

I sat on the couch and removed my sneakers. I lifted my legs and stretched them on the sofa, my hands untangling my braid. I ran my fingers through my hair to straighten the chunky waves the braid gave me.

My eyes landed on the leather jacket that was on the corner of the couch.

Oh crap. Zayn forgot his jacket. He wrapped me in his jacket earlier before I climbed on his motorbike.

Soft knocks surfaced on the door. I stood up slowly, thinking it must be Zayn.

I opened the door and my chest flipped after seeing Harry in front of me.

"Hello," he smiled, the sweet beam fixed on his face. He was wearing a white tank top and jeans, his hands carrying a small box.

This scene was so familiar now.

"Hey," I managed to say, pulling a smile. I was a bit uneasy because of the fact that he saw me kissing Zayn earlier in the gallery.

"Do you have a minute?" he asked. "I made cupcakes and I wanted to know if they're good enough for Liam's birthday. I need your opinion," he explained, showing me the box with six cupcakes inside. "It's my first time to bake marbled Reese's cupcakes and I wasn't sure if it turned out good."

"You baked at midnight?" I asked, amused.

He nodded with a grin. "I missed having a quiet house, I was inspired."

I glanced at his house. It was indeed quiet. "Your friends have no parties or sessions for tonight?" I asked with one of my brows raised.

"They went back to New York this morning," he replied flatly.

"Oh," I murmured. Finally. God is so good to me, he heard my prayers. "Come in."

Harry went inside and made himself comfortable on the couch. I sat beside him, facing him with my legs crossed. "I thought your friends would stay longer," I told him.

He shrugged. "They got bored here. They don't really like it here."

"As if the town likes them," I exhaled. People in this town were obviously annoyed with the loud party that Louis threw. Marty told me that he heard people complaining about it. Also, there were rumors that Niall and Louis got into a brawl last night. I didn't know where and why, but I got a feeling that it was the reason why they called Harry last night when I was with him.

"Oh, by the way," I exclaimed. "The website just started paying me. I'll give you a part of what I owe you tomorrow."

"Keep the money, Jade. Save it and don't worry about the money you owe me. Besides, I won't be here tomorrow. I'll fly to New York."

It got my full attention. "Tomorrow? You missed your two friends already?"

He playfully rolled his eyes and I almost bursted to a laugh. He looked childish. "No. It's because of my business, gotta fix something and I have to be there."

I stared at him as he took a cupcake from the box. "You're a businessman?"

Harry gave me the cupcake. "Yeah," he simply confirmed.

"What kind of business?"

"An automotive shop. Just a small one."

"Where in New York?"
