READER'S POV

I remember walking away from him.

I remember his hurt look when I told him to leave me.

I remember when he broke my heart.

How many days have I spent crying over him?

I havent counted.

*knock* *knock*

"(Y/N)? Are you there?"

It must be Astrid.

"Astrid? Come in. Where's Heather?"

She opened the door and slouched in.

"I think she's with the Ruff.........."

I was crying on my bed. She sat next to me.

"I-it's been a month, ya'know?"

"A-a....... m-m-month?!"

"Yeah..... It feels like a day, though..... since....."

"It hurts....."

"Yeah.... wanna take a walk? I really need it...."

"S-sure..... I wanna talk with Eret... he's kinda the only boy I trust completely now...."

"Yeah... but havent you talked to the other guys?"

"Yes. But.... I still cant.... forget.... they were..... beers..... lets just go....."

We sat up and left the house. The bright sunlight blinded me for a sceond.

"THE GODDESS IS OUT!!!"

"Whaa--"

A whole lot of vikings came and bombarded me with questions.

"Where have ya' been?"

"Are ya' alright?"

"Where is Toothless?"

Toothless.......

I havent heard his name in so long.

"Why're ya' cryin'?"

"Is she cryin'?"

To my horror, my cheeks were wet from the tears.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!! GIVE HER SOME SPACE WILL YA'?!!!!"

Is that Toothless?

I looked up and saw Eret fighting back the crowd.

"(Y/N).... let's go while their confused...." Astrid beckoned.

She guided me away while tears continuously flowed down.

She dragged me into the Great Hall.

Thank Odin, no one was there.

I leaned against the stony wall and sat down. I sobbed into my lap.

"Ugh.... those jerks.... Thank Odin Eret was there......" she muttered.

"I dont blame them... I did disappear suddenly...... after--"

"Dont go back on it. Oh look, here's Eret."

And as she said, Eret came running over.

He was huffing and puffing like crazy.

"Man, getting a crowd away is hard. And I used to be the leader of the dragon-trapping squad........ *whew*..."

"So.... what happened?"

"Ehh.... dont ask."

"Heh.... so? Have you been talking to the guys lately?" she asked.
