READER'S POV

It's been a month since the day Toothless proposed.

Oh my Thor......

My heart is pounding like crazy now...

You know what that means?

ITS SNOGGLETOG EVE!!!!!!!!!

Spike's left along with all the dragons to only Hiccup knows where. So has Raven.

I remember my first Snoggletog here.

It was so fun. It's become my favourite holiday now. I go crazy.

I jump around and act like a little kid all over again.

Childish, I know. But I really cant help it.

I sprang up from the bed while I grinned like a total idiot.

"Toothless!!!! Wake up!!!!!! Come on!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!"

TOOTHLESS'S POV

Ugh........ I felt someone shaking me like a madman.

"WAKE UP!!!!!!!!"

Okay.

THAT'S IT!!!

I pounced up and knocked her back onto the bed.

I pushed up a bit to see her perfect face just inches away.

"There. I'm up. You happy yet?"

"Y-yes. Now, can you get off ne now? I know we're engaged and all, but this is getting awkward." she pointed out calmly.

"I-I-I UM!!!!"

I hurriedly got off and blushed.

"Heh. You know, I was only joking. I enjoyed that." she smirked.

And........ I pretty much look like tomato.

GREAT work....

"Okay. NOW LET'S GO!!!! I WANNA GO ENJOY SNOGGLETOG!!!!!!!"

"Hey, put on some proper clothes. I dont want other men looking at my lady."

"Fine, let me go grab something."

She stood up and stretched before heading to the bathroom to get ready.

I threw on a shirt and fur overtop along with a pair of dark leggings.

(Y/N) returned with a navy blue top, dark leggings, and a fur jacket.

And of course, she looked as gorgeous as ever.

"Hey, come on! The dragons will be back in the evening, then, we'll be having that Snoggletog party at night!"

"Yeah..... yeah..... so? Where d'ya wanna go?"

She cocked her head and thought for a bit.

"I dont know. Well, what do you want to do?"

"Well, why not go around the village? We can meet up with Hiccup and Astrid......"

"Aww....... but I miss the times when we used to hang out in the cove....." she pouted.

I sighed and sat on the side of the bed.
"Toothless, are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah....... I'm fine....."

"Hey! Dont be like that!!! Let's go enjoy Snoggletog!!!!!"

She grabbed my arm and pulled me outside.

It was really early, and no one was up yet.

"Woah..... we're up early. So? What now?"

"I dont kno-- Hey!! Its Hiccup!! Astrid too!!"

I waved at my best friend who was making his way to us with Astrid.

"Hey guys! You're up early!!!"

"Yeah..... I got my butt kicked up by (Y/N)."

I nudged her lovingly and grinned.

"Yeah..... same deal here with Astrid. She wouldnt let me sleep!!!"

He smiled at his girlfriend who gave him a good whack on the shoulder.

"It's beautiful here...... isnt it? Especially during sunrise." (Y/N) pointed out.

She gazed dreamily at the Snoggletog tree. The glass ornaments that Gobber designed shone and glimmered while tiny birds pecked at the garland.

We stood there for a while until Hiccup jumped up and yelled.

"GREAT ODIN'S GHOST!!!! I ALMOST FORGOT!!! THE DRAGON'S ARE COMING BACK TODAY!!!!!!"

"Hiccup! Dont forget, its still morning.... some vikings are still asleep." Astrid pointed out.

"Right.... sorry...... I just forgot Cloudjumper and the others were coming back......"

"Anyway, Hiccup, whats the schedule for today?"

"Relaxation. We'll be waiting for the dragons to come back, then we'll have that annual Snoggletog party!"

"Great..... so we'll be going now." I told them.

"Off on a little date?" Hiccup teased.

"Shut it Hiccup."

I rolled my eyes and motioned (Y/N) to follow.

"So? Where're we gonna go now, Handsome?"

"New nickname for me?"

"Yup!"

We took a stroll around Berk. Every single house was decorated with garlands and candles. Some even had mini Snoggletog trees of their own.

"Its beautiful, isnt it?"

Not as beautiful as you. I thought.

"Well, what are you staring at me for? Lets go wait for the dragons!"

The usual heat rushed up my face as she grabbed my arm and dashed to the cliffside, where we usually waited on Snoggletog mornings.

As time went by, more vikings came and joined us.

We waited.

And waited.

Until the faint screech of a Stormcutter was heard in the distance.

"We are coming back..."
