TOOTHLESS'S POV

Three years.......

Since the whole incident with Dagur.

Since the day she..........

A lot has changed.

First order of business, Hiccup made me his right-hand man when it come to chief-ing.

It was getting a bit too hectic for him alone, so he asked me to help him out.

The whole village agreed, since I had some experience in leading. I mean, I was the Alpha dragon.

Oh! And Cloudjumper's become the new official Alpha. He's great at it, really.

Hiccup rides him now, since Valka doesnt need to. He keeps telling me how different it is from riding me.

I always laugh at those funny memories.

Hiccup and Astrid are getting a bit more serious in their relationship.

Since Astrid moved in, it was getting a bit cramp in the old house, so we moved to our own little house.

It was getting unbearable with two 20 year old girls in the house.

Hiccup and I've been going crazy.

Ugh...... I think Im gonna puke from just thinking about that hell.

Valka finds it very amusing.

Admittedly, we dont spend a lot of time in it. We always go to the cove.

We hardly ever fight, so life is just..... amazing.

Coincidentally, this is the three year anniversary of when she died.

And today is the day which will change everything.

READER'S POV

I felt someone snuggle up to me.

"Toothless? Ugh...... I'm so tired......"

He wrapped his arms around me and sighed into my ear.

"C'mon, I have to show you something........."

He rolled off the bed and put on a shirt. He only wears black. I dont know why.

"Oh come on...... *yawn*...... I'm so tired." I complained.

I rubbed my eyes and buried my face into my pillow.

"Fine, want me to carry ya'?"

I let out a muffled 'okay' and felt a strong pair of arms pick me up.

I snuggled into his chest.

We walked out into the cold, snowy village and snuck into the forest.

"You've done this before in the past, remember?"

"Yeah....... lets not go back on that....."

TOOTHLESS'S POV

I kissed her head and whispered into her ear.

"Dont you dare leave me again, okay?"

"I promised you. I'm not leaving."

She nuzzled closer to me and I sighed.

"I'm yours. And yours only. I will never leave you."

I stayed silent and walked through the snowy forest.

Oh! I forgot to mention that Berk's fall is over. Snoggletog is next month.

"Toothless. You're awfully quiet today."

"I-i-i-it's n-n-n-n-n-nothing."

"Hmm? Are you sure? You never stutter this much. And your heartbeat is quickening. "

Can I ever fool this girl?

I didnt think so.

"J-j-j-j-just t-t-trust m-me......."

She looked up at me and raised her eyebrows.

I felt my face burn red.

And yes, eventhough we've been dating for three years, I still blush.

Go figure.

"I like how you still blush. You still look cute like that."

"H-hey! Anyway..... w-we're h-h-here...."

She gasped at the cove.

It was covered in dazzling bright white snow.

The lake was completely frozen.

She's never seen the cove like this before.

And now that I think about it, it was kinda stupid of me to not bring her at these kind of times.

"Toothless...... it's perfect......."

I let her down as she admired it.

We walked and sat by the lake.

Icicles hung from the trees and vines, while the usual warm grass was blanketed in a thick layer of pure white snow. The lake gleamed and sparkled in the cold sunlight.

She shivered and nudged closer to me.

I pulled her closer to me and hugged her tightly.

"Are you cold?"

"Freezing. But Im warmer now."

I gulped as she lay her head on my chest.

"Why is your heart quickening? Its so fast......"

"I-I-I-I......"

Great, what a great way to do this Toothless.

JUST great.

"Toothless........"

I took a deep breath and stared into her gorgeous (E/C) eyes.

The next thing I know, she has her hands wrapped around my neck and her lips are on mine.

"There. You feel better?"she smirked.

I calmed down looked at her face.

"(Y/N). You are the most amazing person I've ever met. I want you to know that. I cant imagine life without you. I-I just w-want to a-ask you s-something...."

She cocked her head at me and her face turned into a frown.

"W-will you marry me?"

Her eyes widened and her lips curved into a smile.

"Y-yes......"

A tear ran down her face as she beamed at me.

"Yes. I will."she repeated.

We leaned in closer until we heard someone shrieking.

"AHHHH!!!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! WE NEED TO PLAN A WEDDING FOR YOU TWO!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!"
