After calming my shits down for a few days, I decided to go back schooling again. Bumalik na ako ng Blues Academy.
Pagpasok ko ng classroom ay nagtinginan halos ang lahat saakin. Padabog ko kasi binuksan ang pinto at taas noong naglakad patungo sa dulo ng classroom.
Hindi pa rin nawawala ang titig ng ilan saakin kaya tinaasan ko sila ng kilay.
"What?" Malamig kong tanong.
Umiwas na sila ng tingin maliban kay Zachery. I decided not to pay attention to him either. Ngunit siya mismo ay lumapit saakin. I heard the students gasped in shock.
"Agatha." He called me. Hindi ko siya nilingon.
He's just a pawn, anyway. Madaling tanggalin, madaling palitan.
My past isn't what's important right now. Chase is my top priority as of now. The past can wait.
Mabilis na lumipas ang araw, lumilipad ang isipan ko kakaisip kung ano ang nararapat na gawin.
Honestly, the right thing to do is go back in The Unwanted. That's for sure. I just can't seem to move my ass. Ayoko rin naman tumakbo pabalik roon nang walang plano.
I need to know the facts.
The reason behind.
The consequences.
Just why, Chase?
Why would Chase do that kind of thing? He's a humorous guy but an upright one when it comes to the law. Our law. So why?
Nabalik lamang ako sa reyalidad nang maramdaman kong mayroong nakatitig saakin.
Si Zachery. Sino pa ba?
"Am I out in the game?" Tanong niya saakin.
Tumango naman ako. Narinig ko ang pagbuntong-hininga niya kung kaya't napalingon ako sakanya.
He was looking at me with such sadness in his eyes.
"It's annoying, Agatha. It's so damn easy for you to get rid of people as if we're just a piece in the game."
"Are you hearing yourself? How long have we known each other, Zachery? A couple of weeks?" Sabat ko sakanya ngunit kalmado pa rin.
"And you're so attached, too good to be true. Sorry but I can see through you." Dagdag ko pa at tumayo upang umalis ngunit nahablot niya ang braso ko at napigilan ako.
"I'm not giving up without a fight. Even if you tell me to just go my way, I won't." Sambit niya. Tinignan ko lamang siya sa mata saglit at tinabig ang kamay niyang nakakapit sa braso atsaka umalis.
"JAM?" I heard someone say from behind. Based on the tone of the voice, it must be Steff. Lumingon ako ngunit walang reaksyon na ipinakita.
"We missed you!" Lovi said.
"Really, huh?" I asked coldly.
At first, I'm still game on, in this stupid shit. But I'm too tired and have a lot on my mind to play dumb.
"Where have you been? We were fake-kidnapped by Cindy. She said na she'll test our teamwork but you didn't showed up." Malungkot na sambit ni Lovi at ngumuso.
"Really? Then why is it that I'm the only who's always being tested?" Tanong ko sakanila.
My face is still nonchalant.
"Because you're our leader, duh!" Ngumisi ako sa sagot ni Lovi.
"But you let us down." Sambit ni Jaq.
