Deep down in my heart I bore
A fear, a cry, a pain, a hole
In my mind, in my heart to the core
Today I lost something but with a gain.
Joys and sorrows and up and down
My life swings like a pendulumn
One moment earned the other gone
How uneven a life can be!
I missed a chance today,
Here comes waiting another the other day.
Regretting over the past loss
Not realising what I learnt from it.
I may have lost a chance, an opportunity
That could make me what I aspire,
Which drifts me back to drown in sea
And lose another one which I could foresee.
For ever down, there is an up
For every up, there is a down
Realise what you have in your hand before its gone
For today its a loss which tomorrow may drive to success.
I might have lost a hundred times
But everytime I learnt something new.
Understood something which I couldn't have
If I hadn't lost those 100 times.
There's always another chance to rise
A bright light after the end of every dark tunnel
Nothing will be lost if you can realise
That for every defeat there's a hidden victory over it!!!
