Neither You Nor I

You stretched out your hand to me with a clear look in your eyes,

With affirmity I took it and held it tight,

Though scared and unsure we were but promise did we wise,

No matter what troubles come, together we'd fight,

But none knew nor want to know what calamities we'll face by,

Neither you nor I...

Together we undertake this journey today,

Ready to give any sacrifice that takes

To turn every stone into a flower on the way

And anything that this journey promising it makes

But none know nor want to know what we'll experience by,

Neither you nor I...

Our minds hazed with doubt-

Will it end right?

Our hearts are but with guilt echoing about

Yet our love blossoms in the chest at height

And none know what jeopardy'll play by,

Neither you nor I...

Till eternity we hope this journey lasts,

Blooming and blossoming until the very last day

Even after our souls cease to exist and go up the masts,

Our love comes to give us a send off all the way

But we know none can unleash the blissful dreams unless God's grace with us do stay by

Neither you nor I...

We leave behind alot everyday

Only to make some more together on the way.

Difficulties and adversaties with us do play

Yet our love only strengthens further each day

And none can guess the strength of the divine love that dwells by

Neither you nor I...

Our intentions' pure and mind's stout,

Though miles apart but in each other's heart we reside,

Like two souls that breathe but with one heart,

Or two hearts that beat but with a single soul inside,

But none know nor want to know how long our hearts will beat by,

Neither you nor I...

Love like a mighty valiant surrounds us

And shields from any misconception or doubt.

Little mistakes we make but no fuss

Because in the end our love laughs it all out

But none knew nor want to know how long this journey will peacefully last by,

Neither you nor I...

Every mistake is laughed out like a prank,

Every moment spent together seems to last with billion little eternal memories

Because in each other is where our happiness sank

This love has changed our lives from what it is

Though none know what risk'll come by,

Neither you nor I...

No cold winter with bitter biting winds,

No harsh summer with ruthless scorching heat

But only spring with its colourful bounty that never ends,

Is our journey with love so sweet

And none will nor want to leave this journey ever by,

Neither you nor I...

With your love is every problem faced with ease,

Boosted in me a confidence that could never be.

Together we've dreamt of a world which is,

What we pray to achieve in our journey to eternity

And none can live nor want to unless the other stays by
