I Will Make You Love Me

by sloanranger

I will make you love me now - oh, yes, I really will;

never in your life my love, will you be so thrilled.

You will make such cooing sounds and whispers in my ear,

your quiet heart by leaps and bounds will swell with joy and cheer.

Sonnets you will write, about my golden hair,

odes of all that's right, about my face so fair.

And when your nerves are frazzled, your world completely bent,

after you are dazzled with my mind, my eyes, and scent;

you may have reservations, but let me make it clear,

rest assured my sweet love, you've not a thing to fear.

For when you are besotted, it's farewell to you I'll bid,

that's all you'll be allotted and you'll cry...

                                                                                     just like I did.
