Chapter 33

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door.

I got up, and opened it to reveal Luke.

"Hey." He said, smiling a little at me.

"Hey. Come in." I said. I close the door after him and we walked to the living room.

"Nice house." He said. I thanked him, and we stood by Dad.

"Dad, this is Luke. Luke, this is my Dad Liam." I said.

"Nice to meet you." Luke said, shaking my Dads hand.

"You too." Dad said. I took a seat after Dad, and so did Luke.

I wasn't even down a minute before the door was knocked on again.

I got up and opened the for Jack.

"Hey." He said, giving me a hug. I hugged him back.

"Hey." I said, pulling away.

We walked towards the couch, and I motion for Luke to come.

"I'd appreciate it if you two weren't holding hands." Dad said. I looked down and noticed that we were holding hands.

I honestly don't remember holding his hand.

"My bad, sir." Jack said, pulling away.

"We're going to go to the table." I said. Dad nodded and continued watching tv.

We sat at the table, and Jack made me sit by him with Luke across from us.

"So, what are we planning on doing?" Luke asked, looking at me.

Jack sent him a glare, and I elbowed him in the ribs.

"Knock it off." I hissed. Luke chuckled.

"Why are you laughing?" Jack asked.

"Jack.. You really don't get it." Luke said.

"What don't I get?" Jack asked.

"I'm gay. I don't have any interests in dating Eve. No offense." Luke said.

"None taken." I said.

I looked over at Jack and he looked shocked. Never saw that coming I bet.

"Really? You knew this too?" Jack asked, directing the last one towards me.

"Yes. I've known this." I said.

"I'm sorry I've been so mean, mate. I just thought you liked her. You don't seem like one to be gay." Jack said.

"It's okay. We understood why you were doing it. And I get that a lot." Luke said.

"Why didn't you try to stop me from being rude?" Jack asked.

"Well, since we knew Luke made you mad, I wanted to see how far you would go to protecting me. But if it got too serious we would stop you." I said.

"And we planned to tell you tonight since you guys have been dating for awhile now." Luke added.

"Oh. Well that makes me relieved." Jack said.

"I bet." I said.

"Hey, I hate to leave so soon but my Mum needs help with something... Who knows what." Luke said.

We stood up and walked towards the door.

"Thanks for coming. I'll see you later." I said, giving him a hug.

Jack patted his back, and he went to his Mums car.

"Luke leave?" Dad asked as I closed the door.

"Yeah." I said, sitting on the love seat with Jack by me.

"How have you been Jack?" Dad asked.

"I've been good. You?" Jack said.

"Good." Dad said. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure." Jack said.

What in the world could he want to know now?

"Are you the one who gave my daughter a hickey on her lip?" Dad asked.
