I took the phone from his hand, and looked at the picture.
When the paparazzi took the pictures, they took a lot more than what I heard.
They took a picture of him in the process of putting the jacket on my shoulder.
They took a picture of me on the ground, and him laughing.
And they took a picture of us cuddling.
Well that sucks.
I don't even want to see their faces. I don't want to give the phone back, or look at them.
"I-" I cut myself off. I have no clue as to what to say.
"What? You what? You're scared that you got caught? You didn't have a plan for this, did you?" Dad asked.
"What are you two talking about?" Uncle Niall asked, looking over my shoulder at the picture.
"That." Dad said.
"Oh..." Uncle Niall said. Uncle Harry looked, and took the phone.
Then Uncle Louis came over and took the phone from Uncle Harry.
"Woah, Eve." He said. He sat back down and gave Uncle Zayn the phone back.
"Wait a second..." Uncle Zayn said, looking closer at the picture. His eyes widened, and he looked at me with a clenched jaw, and glaring eyes.
"What is it?" Dad asked, looking at the phone.
"This is the 16 year old kid I tattooed the other day." Uncle Zayn said, looking at me. "Isn't it."
"Yes." I said, looking down.
"Wait a second." Dad said. We all looked at him confused.
"What?" Uncle Harry said.
"First of all, you aren't aloud to date, let alone a 16 year old. And second of all, especially one with a tattoo!" Dad exclaimed.
"He's only two years older than me!" I said.
"Exactly! I know it's not that bad, but I don't want you dating!" Dad said.
"No, it's not bad at all! Age is just a number, maturity is a choice. He's only two years older." I said, quoting Uncle Harry.
"Don't pull that on me." Dad said, narrowing his eyes at me.
"You wanna know something?" I asked.
"You and Danielle were five years apart when you guys dated!" I told him.
"Do not bring that up." He said, looking at me.
"And she was older than you." I told him.
"Evelyn, be quiet!" He yelled at me.
"I'm just saying, that a guy that is two years older, is not bad." I told him.
"And I don't think it's bad. It's not bad when he's older. But right now, it's bad. I don't want you dating." He said, looking at me.
"Why? I'm 14." I told him.
"Yes, Evelyn, I am very aware of your age." Dad said. Man did I want to flip him off right now.
"Then what's so bad?!" I yelled.
