Last part for the Reunion Chapters~ The only reason why I split Reunion into three seperate chapters was mostly because it was Josh revealing himself. That part has a lot of speech, and I didn't want to cram it all into one chapter ^~^
Anyways, this chapter is going to be different than others, as you will soon find out. I hope you enjoy!

[Dream]
"Jeez, Courtney..." My brother reached up and rubbed his temple, as if he was in pain. "All this excitement -- it's giving me a headache."
"Sorry, bro. You could always go hide away in your room..." My eyes gleamed mischeviously as I walked past him, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "Of course, you wont be able to see Ashley..."
"H-Hey! I'm fine, yeah, uh... no headache at all!" He wasn't very convincing, but his flustered expression was good enough for me. I knew I had hit his weakspot -- and I was proud. I wore a grin as I skipped into the kitchen, but was just as quickly ushered out by Sam.
"You cant come in!" She placed her hands firmly on my shoulders and pushed me back into the livingroom. She led me to the couch, where she made me sit down.
"No fair! I just wanted to give you some company." I crossed my arms over my chest and pouted.
"I've got Hannah to keep me company." The stern look on her face kept me from trying to protest any further. Sam's gaze traveled from me to Chris, and she crossed her arms over her chest. "I asked you to keep her out of the kitchen, Chris."
"That you did." He chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the nape of his neck. "Well, you know how she gets... right?"
"Excuses, excuses." Sam shook her head, the corners of her mouth curving upwards in a small smile. "Just keep her occupied, please?"
"No promises, Sam."
Sam trekked back into the kitchen, where she and Hannah were busy prepping.
It was quiet between Chris and I, neither of us speaking -- we just stared at eachother, which became awkward after a while.
"You're growing up, Court-"
I gave him the 'are you fucking kidding me' stare, which effectively shut him up. It was quiet once again, until the doorbell rang.
"They're here!" I jumped up from the couch and hurried to the door, but hesitated. "Chris, are you ready to see Ash-"
"Just open the damn door!"
I giggled and turned the doorknob, then pulled open the door. Standing before me was Mike, Emily, Matt, and Jessica. Mike and Emily were holding hands, per usual for the possessive couple.
"Happy Birthday, Courtney." Matt showed me a sweet smile as he entered the house, with Jessica following behind him. Emily stepped in next, releasing Mike's hand temporarily to give me a hug.
"Happy birthday."
"Thanks, Em." We shared a smile.
"I think you got shorter, Court." Mike suddenly started to ruffle my hair, which made me pout. "Happy birthday, shorty."
"I'm not short! You're just tall!"
He laughed and shut the door behind him, then went over and made himself comfortable on the couch. Emily sat beside him, snuggling up to his side.
"Gross." Jessica scoffed at the two, then strut her way past us and into the kitchen.
"Hey Chris, what's up?" The boys all started talking, seemingly enjoying their time together. I was more than happy to see Chris socializing with someone other than our parents, me, Ashley, or Josh. Sure, he was a little dorky and maybe a little rough around the edges, but he had a heart of gold. I was glad that he had a group of friends who didn't judge him too harshly -- they accepted him for who he was.
Matt, who was sitting on the arm of the loveseat, suddenly excused himself from the room. He went into the kitchen, saying something about seeing if the girls needed any help.
"You're 16 now, right?" Mike wrapped his arm around Emily's shoulders and gazed over at me. "Same age as Hannah and Beth." I gave a small nod and smiled.
"Yeah, it's my "sweet sixteen", right?"
Mike and Emily both let out a little laugh, which confused me. I was going to ask them about what was funny, but the doorbell rang again.
"Coming!" As I answered the door, I was almost immeadiately enveloped in a hug.
"Is Hannah in the kitchen?" It was Beth who asked, just as we ended our hug. I nodded, and she smiled at me before leaving the room. Ashley walked in next, and we shared a smile.
"Josh'll be right back -- he said he forgot something in the car." She walked over to Chris and greeted him, her smile shy and her eyes gleaming with happiness. It was cute, really.
"Hey, birthday girl."
I turned around to see Josh; he was in the midst of tucking something into his pocket as he walked inside. He wore a grin on his face, which made butterflies flutter around in my stomach. He opened his arms to me and raised his eyebrows in inquisitively. "Wanna hug?"
I was quick to accept the hug, wrapping my arms around his torso and gripping the back of his flannel. My head rested comfortably against his chest as his arms wrapped around me, pulling me close and holding me there.

The day went by quickly, but I didn't miss a single minute. We were always busy, whether it be eating lunch, enjoying cake, or opening presents -- we were all together, and enjoying the moments. Even Jessica seemed happy, despite our rough-relationship. The present she gave me was definately one of my favorites -- a fluffy white teddy bear with brown polka-dots. I never would've expected for Jessica of all people to get that for me, but I was extremely grateful nonetheless.
"It's getting dark out, we should probably head home."
People started leaving over time, until it was just me, Chris, Hannah, Beth, and Josh. Chris said his goodbye to Josh, then went into the kitchen to start cleaning up.Since the twins were going to spend the night, they followed Chris to help him.
"Thanks for coming, Josh." We were standing in front of the door, preparing to say our farewells. While I was smiling shyly, Josh had more of a relaxed expression.
"No problem. Sorry 'bout the mess though." He laughed sheepishly; while slicing the cake earlier, Josh and Mike had thought that it was a good idea to squish the first two slices onto my face while I wasn't looking. Lets just say, the third slice was no longer recognizable, splattered all over the two boys.
"Don't worry about it -- it was hilarious."
"Mm." He nodded and turned to leave, taking his first step out the door. "See you around, Courtney."
"See ya'."
I started to shut the door, but stopped when Josh suddenly turned around.
"Oh yeah," He strode back up the pathway, stopping a mere foot in front of me. "I forgot to give you something."
He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. After several seconds passed he pulled back, wearing a sincere yet goofy smile.
"Happy Birthday, Courtney."
