I'm definitely going crazy.... I finally got home after the hiccup I had with Daniel, Lyra was waiting patiently for me to give her more details I got a pretty heavy handed pat on the back from lyra when I told her about what happened in the office on Monday. Our conversation lasted quite a while before I finally managed to escape her grasp on me. 

I quickly showered wrapping my hair in a towel when I hear a notification on my phone.

Daniel: Stella is missing you she got excited again when she smelt your scent on me. 

Sleep well love, dream of me

Belladonna: Well let her know I will make sure to come see her soon.

as long as you dream of me, goodnight Daniel.

I smiled at my phone before placing it on my nightstand and wrapping myself in my duvet. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep considering how tired I've being the last couple of days.

I stirred in my sleep, my stomach was killing me. This is what you get for being a woman, I woke up and checked the time it had only being three in the morning. Shit I'm about to die from cramps, I exited my bedroom holding onto my stomach making my way to the toilet sure enough it was a blood bath. 

I knew it was due I should've worn a pad to bed, I got rid of my pjs and hopped in the shower, I crouched down letting the water soak my back fuck I'm on the verge of tears. I stood up giving myself a quick wash holding onto the wall for support as  felt light headed. I got out the shower drying myself before grabbing the usual night time pad and getting dressed, I made myself a hot water bottle and lay back in bed. 

I gave Daniel a message telling him I wouldn't be coming in work today, They should seriously normalise that for a lot of woman who get bad periods... I mean hell it ain't my faut I'm a woman.  A notification brought me out of my thoughts.

Daniel: Take off the time you need love, do you need me to come over?

oh he's actually up right now. 

Belladonna: Nono! it's okay I'm surviving! you should get to sleep.

I'm absolutely not surviving.

Daniel: You woke up at 3AM with cramps and you're telling me you're surviving? I'm coming to get you, you can stay with me. I couldn't sleep anyways.

See you soon baby.

Well guess I'll pack a bag then... I wrapped the hot water bottle around my hoodie as I moved very slowly around my room packing my bag with typical things I'd need. I noticed I'm almost out of pads so I definitely need to get more of them.

It only took Daniel  fifteen minutes to arrive at mine he must've being speeding usually takes him half an hour when I'm with him.  A knock at the door made me jump out of my skin, I thought he would've waited downstairs. ''Hey cherry how you doing'' I gave him a thumbs up and a smile, I am absolutely on the verge of tears. ''Come on let's get you to mine'' 

It didn't take long to get back to Daniel's, Stella sure as hell was happy to see me, I've being acquainted with his floor way to many times. ''come I'll run you a bath then we can chill for a bit before bed'' Daniel spoke up giving me a hand up off the floor. ''you need your bed for work though'' I took his hand using my spare one to wipe down my clothes. ''I don't sleep much if I'm honest'' his lips curled into a little smile  before picking me up bridal style to walk upstairs. 

''I'm more than capable to walk you know'' I chuckled trying to wiggle out of his grasp only for him to tighten his arms around me. I folded my arms over my chest in a huff as he took me to the bathroom sitting me down on the counter as he run the bath. 

we sat for a while talking about random things whilst the bath filled ever so slowly. ''can I ask something?'' I toyed with my thumbs as I spoke up. He nodded unsure about what was going to come out my mouth. ''have you ever being like this with anyone?.. and if so what changed?'' his expression got quite serious, I think I'm treading on thin ice with that question. I shook my head ''never mind forget I asked anything'' 

''I've always being like this, since I was a kid, distant and cold. Highschool came and well yeah I became the popular rich kid'' he scoffed shaking his head. ''There was one girl I really liked we dated for a long time hell I thought she was the one..''

He paused his eyebrows furrowed, he looked sad... ''she used me, to get to my dad, he had a rivalry with this other company and she was just a pawn in the rich world. I swore off relationships after that so no I have never being like this with anyone''  he sighed before looking back up at me, '' I loved her and she broke me so I helped my dad tare apart her fathers company'' he smiled before standing up.

'' your bath is ready cherry enjoy'' he kissed my forehead before taking his leave, I grabbed his wrist looking at him with apologetic eyes, ''I'm sorry but just know I'm not like that and I sure as hell don't have the riches or smarts to even try take your company. But thank you for being honest and telling me.'' 

He cupped my face in his hands planting a kiss on the top of my head, ''enjoy your bath I left a towel on the bed, I'll be in my bed if you need me'' I hummed in response.

I spent over an hour in the bath, before stepping out onto the mat. I grabbed my towel from the bed giving myself a quick dry before grabbing another pad, I debated whether or not to go in Daniels bedroom. I put on a pair of shorts and a vest top before exiting the bedroom, I stood in front of his door for about five minutes and finally gained the courage to knock. I raised my hand to the door which was now open, Daniel stood in the doorway shirtless with a pair of grey sweats on and by god he looks sexy. ''I- um sorry I was going to knock'' the smug look on his face told me he was pretty amused by my lack of confidence. 

''come you're sleeping next to me tonight'' he move his body out of the way allowing me to enter his bedroom, I walked in sheepishly  before laying down on his bed climbing under the duvet. ''let's sleep'' he spoke closing the door following suit. 

we lay in silence for a while before I was spun around my face deep in his chest his arms wrapped around me tightly, I could hear his heart in his chest and his breathing began to slow signalling he was falling asleep. 

I did the same finally able to fall back asleep this time in his arms where it was warm and safe.
