Morning came you do not get used to the wine hangover, I stretched off the sofa seems me and Lyra passed out on the couch. I covered her with a blanket before heading to the bathroom, I stripped off my clothes turning the shower on before walking into it the heat of the water instantly waking me up.

I decided to leave the night out until Saturday Lyra seemed tired last night she really can't hack more than 2 nights out but after last night I think we need a break. I really wasn't expecting to see Daniel I chose a club he didn't own for that reason! Christ it's like we are both attached to some leash that just pulls us back together.

What is this universe doing to me or my parents Im close to blaming them I'm sure they're watching me right now well maybe not right now considering I'm in the shower but you know what I'm trying to say..

I exit the shower ruffling my hair in the towel before throwing it up into a messy bun, a couple stray hairs dangled down past my eyes tickling my face slightly, I blew them out the way before throwing my glasses on and grabbing my book. I exited the house quietly before heading to my favourite cafe.

I slumped down into my favourite seat as always paying attention to who comes it every time the bell on the door rings. "Hey Bella you just wanting the usual and then refills when your done?" I gave the waiter a smile he knows me all too well, "yeah that's perfect thanks Nate"

Nate's a decent guy I used to be in school with him, actually eventually had a crush on him but he swings the other way. Of course I'm not bothered if anything I'm relieved that's why he said no but he never told anyone he was gay except me which is why we were good friends.

"Hey Nate I have another book for you when you're done with the other one" I spoke to him as he handed me a hot chocolate. "Sweet, honestly they need to start making books like this for gays! I love reading it and by god I need me a book boyfriend like Rhys Larsen.... These books make me swoon like a woman" I laughed but totally agreed with him.

"I have a few recommendations for gays I'll start off with ignite by Abigail Glenn and if you enjoy it give me a message or just use tik tok for recs! I havnt read it but I've seen reviews, I only looked it up for you" I gave him a smile as I sipped my drink.

"Ugh I love you, if only you were a man you little minx" he gave me a quick hug before running back to the kitchen. Nate is the perfect gay bestfriend no joke, I smiled to myself before dipping my head into the book I took with me.

As always I raise my head to see who entered the cafe, and I swear I'm losing my mind theirs Daniel again with some woman this time. Well if that doesn't pull on the heartstrings.

I kept my eyes down reading the words from my book slowly. "Should have known you'd be here" I hear Daniel's voice snapping me from my thoughts. I gave him a sheepish smile as the girl he was with looked at me with curiousity. "This is my sister Zoe" he looked at me amused. He must've seen my expression when they first came in.

I could feel the heat rising up my neck my ears definitely hot to the touch. I cleared my throat before dropping my book on the table. "Well after a night of shit I need to do something to relax" I may have come off a little pissed but you know how it is with interruptions even if he is a hot interruption..

"Well thanks to you I managed to get some time with my family for a little bit, I'm still mad you kept the company closed for the rest of the week but grateful considering I'd have never done that" he rubbed the back of his neck slightly anxious. "Well you got sick for the reason that you're a workaholic  as your assistant it's my job to look after you so from now on every second weekend you stay home and chill I don't care what you do as long as it's home and doesn't involve work got it"

I attempted to sound stern, "yes you tell him! He never spends time with us anymore, and also very good choice on the book the MMC is so friggin hot and seductive, he's one of my main book boyfriends." Zoe chirps in taking her eyes off her phone. "Such a red flag though if he doesn't grovel at the FMC after what he's done to her I just might have to quit the book" I turned my attention fully to Zoe.

"Guys I'm still here you know, and okay I'll take every second weekend off only if you spend it with me" Is he serious. I gave him a nod and shared contacts with Zoe I found out she's 19 so only year behind me.

They finally left me alone Though I'm sure if his sister wasn't there he'd have sat with me the whole time. "Girl give me the details right now" Nate sat down meaning his shift was over. I explained the whole situation with him earning a couple audible gasps and maybe a few curse words to signal he's on my side completely but deep down he loves Daniel.

"He doesn't seem like too much of a dick, bet he's got a big one though and atleast he told u he doesn't do relationships or use you for sex" once again he's not wrong he said the exact same thing as lyra did. "From what I've seen it's pretty fucking big"

"Shame he's not into men I'd jump on that thing from morning to dusk" I slapped his shoulder lightly gasping at the rather filthy words that spilled from his mouth. "Christ you'd probably milk the man dry Nate. Anyways it's getting late I need to go home now. Could you get me the bill for the hot chocolates" Nate just rolled his eyes in response.

"Please I own the shop you don't need to pay me for a few drinks get out of here dumbass" he shoved me right out so I'd refrain from getting the bill. "Fine but next night out is on Saturday join us I'll get you a drink" I gave him a wink before walking in the direction of home.
