Chapter 10: Surprise

~Catherine's POV~

I wonder when another pack will need our help.

"Hey babe, get ready to leave tomorrow." Travis shouted.

Spoke to soon.

"Which pack are we going to this time?" I asked.

"Uh.... Don't be mad at me but... Its... your...old pack." He stuttered.

I was left speechless.

"Say something please."

"I can't." Was all i managed to say before running to our room.

God, im such a coward. I have to go and visit my old pack. Why.

~Travis's POV~

When she ran upstairs, i was shell shock. I knew her 'mate' was there and she didn't want to see him. But we have a job to help packs. If we don't we will end up having a war.

"Alpha someone is calling you in your Office." My beta said.

"I'll be right there."

I made my way to my office and picked up the phone.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hello, this is Alpha Winters of the Red Moon Pack." "Who am i talking to?"

This is my office, it's obviously me dumbass.

Oh how i wanted to say that.

"This is Alpha Black of the Black Blood pack. May i ask why you called?"

"Oh, how rude of me, i was wondering when you will be coming, so i can get your cottage ready for your stay?"

"We shall be there by tomorrow evening. May i ask, if we can have 1 room?"

"Well of course." I swear that was a bit of annoyance there.

"Ok than, is that all you need?"

"I have another question. When will your head warrior start pack training."

"Whenever. Most likely the day after we come, so get ready."

"Ok. Bye Alpha Black."

"Bye Alpha Winters."

After we hung up, I sigh because his voice is so annoying.

~Next Day~

I went to wake up my beautiful girlfriend after i took a shower.
Wow. In 10 days exactly is our 2 year anniversary. Oh wow. I felt like just yesterday i asked her out. That was a funny and embarrassing day.

"Hey." I told her when she came back from training.

"Hey, I'm heading into town. Need anything?" She said.

Wow she looks sexy in a sports bra and leggings.

"Actually i was meaning to you something." I took a deep breath. And without any further, let it all out.

"Iwaswonderingifyouwanttogoonanotherdatewithme?"

"Huh" she obviously didn't hear me. Man. Me and my damn nervousness.

"I was wondering if you want to go on another date with me?" I said a little slower for she can hear me.
